Great thermalstat to control the temperature intelligently. I like how Alexa works. However, some feature like Drop-In does not work so I still have to buy Echo dot in my room.

I changed from a Honeywell wifi thermostat and glad that I did. This is a feature rich system that can monitor and adjust as needed the air temp throughout your home.

This has been a great purchase. Easy installation and set up compared to the nest we attempted prior. The app works great. Nice to set temperature from anywhere.

I love the thermostat finctionality as well as the overall look and design. Setup is a breeze ans confifuration with IFTTT works. However alexa needs some development. Microphone needs to be more sensitice and itndoesnt support spotify.

We love our Ecobee. You can ask Alexa to play music, check the weather, turn heat and air on or off when your on vacation or not home. Works great if you have wifi!

I had a Nest thermostat in my apartment and was very happy with the cost savings and other smart features. Therefore, when I moved into my house, I knew I would purchase another smart thermostat. One thing I didn't care too much for with the Nest was the Learning Feature. I felt it was too strict and only worked if you're more predictable in your comfort settings. Hence, I looked into other thermostats and came across the Ecobee. I have a 2 story home with one thermostat downstairs. The Ecobee came with an extra sensor and you could also add more sensors. I thought this would be perfect for my home. With the Ecobee installed, I could never obtain a comfortable temperature setting in the home. It seemed like the sensor readings were off. I came home one day to the house on 64 degrees, turned the heat on, and it never heated the house. I waited at least 2 hours and the sensor still read 64 degrees. I even called Ecobee support who told me it was my HVAC system and that I should call a technician to come out and look at it. It's a brand new home with a brand new HVAC so I seriously doubted this being the issue. I ended up removing the Ecobee and putting my original thermostat back on, turned on the heat, and it quickly began warming the house. Ecobee support even told me that they could see where I had temperatures set at night, but it never changed to that temperature. Other issues I had with the Ecobee included the Home / Away feature. It never registered when I was 'Away'. I never saw a way to view Energy Usage or weekly summaries of what was used (like the Nest), and the Schedule was very limited in what you could set. The app or thermostat would indicate that the air/ heat was off, but I would feel air/heat blowing from the vents. For the month I kept it installed, I didn't see any savings when it came to bills. I didn't care too much about the Alexa feature since I had an echo next to it, but I did try it out and it's fairly limited compared to an echo. I ended up purchasing the Nest, turned off the learning feature, and it's been much better.

This thermostat has so many features and is so easy to install and use. Customer support is there if anything is needed. I highly recommend this thermostat!!

I've been using for few weeks, initially skeptical till i use it due to cost and need, but overall we are all happy. Quick installation and easy setup and display is cool. Smart Sensors are great to monitor individual rooms with temperature with occupied or not and hourly fan only option is great. would prefer voice activated than built-in ALEXA option due to privacy agreement concerns. Every body is happy and Overall great product(ecobee4) .

My brother-in-law works in HVAC and recommended this. It works great and the app is nice. Clean, easy interface on both. Having another Alexa device is a big bonus.

Great thermostat, some Alexa features missing, some quirkiness.

For the first time since I have owned my home my AC has actually shut off and I am getting compliments at how much better and even my house is being cooled. The remote temp sensors really make a huge difference. My kids love Alexa and tell her good night every night to which she has a few responses to keep it new and interesting. There are so many amazing features and so little time, I have recommended this to everyone who will listen to me gush about how amazing it is. California DWP and SoCal gas offer rebates that put about $150 in your pocket...oh and did I mention that my AC shuts off now so I am saving money too!!!

Easy set up and operation. It’s a great way to save on energy costs as adjusts when you’re not home. It’s a little more expensive than some others, but you can usually find coupons or rebates online.

Compared this with other thermostats and this had everything I was looking for. Make sure you check to see if you have a c wire before choosing one. I had to connect mine but the Ecobee tech support was great and walked me through it even at 9pm at night. This thermostat starting saving money within a month. I recommend the room sensors as well. Its interesting to see how the temperature of your house is throughout the day and also helps easily manage it. The app is very user friendly and I use that regularly. The Alexa feature is very responsive and can pick up voice commands from across the living room.

For the price after rebate you can’t go wrong. $100 off through ComEd rebate. App works well too. Being able to adjust temp before I get home is a good feature.

Overall, the fact that I can control my thermostat via voice or my phone is great but there are some quirks. Set up was a chore and I had to return my first one because it failed. The second unit is working perfectly.

The ecobe is easy to use but you need patience when installing. The directions str well written and it is not quick but with patience you will be happy too.

So happy that we made this purchase, it made controlling the temperature easy during this hot summer.

I had the Honeywell before and this one is a lot better. Installation was easy, in my case the c wire was not connected to the unite in the basement and ecobee told me what to do and it took about 10 min. I like the sensors as it gives me readings in more rooms. It has great options and settings. It also looks good on the wall. If I have one negative thing to say it would be every few months it loses connection to the Wi-Fi, not a big deal but the connection on the Honeywell was a little better.
