The ecobee is an amazing thermostat and Alexa. It was really easy to connect and came with the device to convert the amount of wires we had to the correct amount. The one and only minor issue we had is the Alexa piece does not have all of the functionality as the echo dot. For example you can’t add it to a group with the other Alexa devices. Not sure huge just a little let down. But other say the sound was not that good we jam to it in our hallway outside our bathroom on a regular basis and the volume seems great.

Bought two of these to replace older programmable thermostats. Easy installation and looks good on the wall. Superb features.

We purchased the Ecobee 4 thermostat with extra sensors as we wanted our extra bedrooms to be equally cooled when we had guests, This thermostat did a great job of keeping our home quite comfortable. We especially liked that it notified us if the humidity level got a little high in the house so that we could make adjustments. It was also nice to be able to have Alexa change the settings if we were in another room. This was a great purchase!

Installed three of these now. Two in our main home and one in our Florida condo. Easy to install. Works great! Alexa is handy and the speaker works well enough we sometimes will have Alexa play music. Remote access works great! We can monitor anywhere in the world. We chose Ecobee over Nest as we like the control you have. When we want it to be smart and control things we can. When we want control to set a schedule we have it. Remote sensors are so handy. Keeps all our rooms at same temp. Highly recommend.

I really like this. I particularly like the sensor to keep control all over. Very simple and detailed instructions. Installed myself in 1 hour.

I purchased this item and have been impressed with how well it works. We have it linked to our Amazon Echo and we can check the house temperature and set the temperature via voice. The app is very slick. It replicates the touch screen interface of the thermostat. We have really enjoyed the vacation mode. You set when you leave and when you will return and it goes to the Away temp and then will have the house warmed up and comfortable for when you return. Very happy with the purchase.

We finally took the plunge and bought a smart thermostat. It is awesome. With the old thermostat, we were just too lazy to get up and adjust the thermostat. So, the AC (or heater) would just keep running. Now, we can adjust it on the phones, or via voice commands through Amazon Echo which we also have. Also, we usually forget to adjust the thermostat when we're not home. Now we don't have to worry about the AC running while no one is home. The incentives from the utility company is a big plus. Easy installation.

I had some reservations about buying this unit. The remote sensors was my big draw - so that it knows we’re home even if we don’t walk past the t-stat. I plan to get another set of sensors so I can check the temp in several rooms.

My house had a 2 wire setup and would not work with the ecobee. I called tech support and they said I would have to install a common wire from the furnace. I decided not to. I went with a nest instead and was an easy 10 minute install.

Easy to setup, I got $125 in coupons. Works with amazon Alexa and has a built in Alexa speaker makes it perfect for any home.

Amazing how easy to install, and how easy to use.The excess rate sensor is really handy especially in an old house like mine.

I've been very pleased with the Ecobee 4 Thermostat. It works wonderfully with Siri and the room sensors are a must-have!

I bought this as I wanted to try something different from a Nest I had put in my parents house. This pretty much as the same features as the Nest, with the addition of Amazon Alexa and extra sensor. I like the interface and style of the Nest a little more. The Nest looks a little more premium with the metal rim, in my opinion. Overall this is a very good thermostat and does most of the things you would want with a smart thermostat to. Setting up different schedules is much more easier and intuitive on the Nest. This has slight learning curve especially if you want have multiple (>3) settings in a 24hr period.

Installation was straight forward and easy. The set up for my HVAC system was more difficult. I was unable to use the default settings and had to customize in order to keep my system from going to into standby. Took about six hours of letting the system cycle,and marking changes to the settings at the thermostat, to get my HVAC system to play nicely. Since then, the system has worked flawlessly and without issue. This was my experience but would not hesitate to purchase again.

Really love this smart thermostat. It looks great and it’s easy to use.

As a thermostat the ecobee 4 is outstanding and when adding sensors in this thermostat beats them all. The downside is the mic on the thermostat. I know you get a thermostat to control heat and AC, but this product is advertising Alexa and being about to control with voic. Unfortunately the mic isn't very responsive, you need to be close or speak loudly for it to pick anything up. Besides that it is still a great thermostat just needs a little tweaking when it comes to the microphone.

If you have trouble keeping tempature the same in other rooms this is for you it comes with other sensor that you put in colder room & it will keep that room the same tempature also you can monitor from your cell phone

I enjoy this thermostat and it’s homekit integration. With home kit it can learn. I am not interested inthe alexa but bought the 4 because my unit has a dehumidifier and the 3 does not have the ability to control that.

I had no previous experience installing a thermostat, but found the step-by-step instructions straightforward and easy to follow. User interface is fairly intuitive and I was able to navigate through the setup menu with minimal dependence on the UM. Alexa feature is great for simple PA tasks, not for playing music or audiobooks...go get an Echo if that’s what you were hoping for...this is a Thermostat. Love having the Ecobee incorporated into my “Alexa, i’m home!” Routine.

Was a super easy setup with Smart things. Like the home away schedule setup and love alexa built into the ecobee 4.
