Super easy to install and works flawlessly so far.

I got my first ecobee smart stat several years ago before they were big and out in the big box stores. After several years I had to get a new AC unit installed and I splurged and upgraded my old ecobee stat with this one and I’m super happy. No issues at all. Works great with the app an the sensors are pretty awesome.

We replaced our previous Sensi Thermostat which was also a wifi unit. This unit looks a lot sharper and the display is really easy to see. So far the only complaints I have is that dialing the temperature up/down requires us to drag the slider. I prefer the up/down button that we click because it's sometimes hard to stop on the correct number when we drag the slider. The other quibble is the app takes a bit getting used to, even after using it for several weeks I will forget which submenu a certain option is located. I do like the smart home/away functions so it'll know when we are outside of our normal schedule though I wish it was adjustable. Right now the default smart-away is 2 hours of non-movement, and smart-home is 1 hour of detected movement where it will override the schedule. I'd like to see this adjustable in a future update, if I get home outside of my schedule I don't want to be in a warm home for an hour before the A/C kicks in so in that case I will just override and select the "home for now" option manually on my app or the thermostat. I would like it to be as seamless as possible requiring minimal interaction.

Works great. App works perfect. Remote sensors connect very easily. Integrates with Samsung Smartthings easily. Minus 1 star. The recognition for Alexa does not work as well as other amazon echo devices. It will not "hand off" to another echo device that is closer to the user. I ended up muting the microphone on the unit. Still integrates well with the other echo devices.

Bought this for a second place (condo) in another city 4 states away. I'm always able to check and adjust the heat or A/C which I really like. I have one in my main residence so no matter which place I'm at I can always check on the other place. My only negative is that both took time to install properly, and I needed to talk with my HVAC friend each time I installed one. Wiring is shown to be simple, but the way your furnace and A/C are wired has a LOT to do with how easy it is to install this thermostat. One went on a brand new house and one on a 30 year old place. Each had their own unique wiring issues. They were easily solved but you’ll need someone who understands it if you don't have that expertise. But once installed they work like a charm. The app also takes a little practice, but again once you get used to it you can do and see a lot.

Needed to replace my old thermostat and figured to go with a more updated one. I check the reviews and was impressed. I was more impressed we their customer service, must say it was excellent. Had them coach me thru the installation, which I did myself. So far I am very satisfied and happy with my ecobee. It has Alexa and makes setting and adjusting my home temperature very easy and convenient.

Love this thermostat. By enrolling in rebate programs through gas and electric companies, this thermostat costs next to nothing to purchase. Great integration with smart phones through the ecobee app. The sensor is a game changer! You put it anywhere in the house and it will adjust temperature to that area. My thermostat is located by large window that during heavy sun times is not a reliable place to gauge temperature. Being able to use the sensors allows me to set a temperature in my office and disable the temperature at the thermostat. Thermostat is also an alexa echo dot so this allowed me to move one of my echo dots to another area of the house for better coverage.

Hands down the best you can buy. The customer service alone is worth it. Had an issue not knowing I had a heat pump and I installed it wrong. Customer service fixed it and was so helpful, and friendly. After I got it installed it was so easy to control and understand. The app makes it easy to set timer, temps, and reminders.

We upgraded to this smart thermostat and it's been great! Love being able to change temp by phone and set home and away settings. Also love that there are additional sensors you can purchase to put in other rooms so that the entire house cools.or heats to the same temp as the room with the thermostat. Alexa is okay, she isn't fully functional and can be finnicky. But it is a nice addition

Love the remote sensor - tells me the temperature difference between floors. Had Geek Squad install - they did a great job.

This smart thermostat is awesome! It's sensor has really helped keep colder rooms warm and maintains a steady temperature!

Although this ecobee works very well keeping my home warm, the alexa feature works sparingly with your voice. I find myself standing right in front of it when I speak. Otherwise, it works just fine. The app and smart home intergration works too. I don't know if it needs a better mic or what, but overall, I'm happy because it's nice to lie in bed and command my heat to come on or turn down at my whim!!!

Built-in Alexa with touch screen. But if you have another device nearby, they will both answer. App is good so you never have to get up again to change temp in house.

GEEK SQUAD OFFERED NO SUPPORT, BUT ECOBEE.COM WERE VERY HELPFUL AND PATIENT. THEY GAVE ME A COUPLE WIRING CHANGES AND IS WORKING GOOD, SO FAR. ONLY WEEK AND A HALF.

This is the best Smart t-stat I have so far, I can control it to my phone and an added Alexa feature is a plus factor!

This took me several weeks to install as my system is really old and did not have the proper wires, even with the bundled Power Extender Kit. I had to buy a third party AC adaptor to wire into the device. Once I did get that done it works just as advertised and I love having Alexa in my hallway for quick lights and other smarthome commands.

Easy to install. Works great in the house. Looks awesome on the wall.

We "upgraded" from the ecobee3, which is the most amazing (albeit expensive) smart thermostat ever. Those features are all carried over seamlessly into the newer version and we have loved the comfort it provides to our home. We have a split level house and rarely keep a standard schedule, so the occupancy sensors are huge in regulating the day-to-day/ hour-by-hour temp of our home. The weather integration is fantastic too, turning our units on/off at the appropriate times to minimize effort needed. My only disappointment is with the Alexa integration. It doesn't maintain the full suite of Alexa features that would be found in a standalone unit and most disappointedly has a tremendous struggle respondinf to voice commands while the user us only a few feet away in a quiet room. The magic of this technology is lost when having to scream at a device to make it work. The speaker volume is ok for its size and perhaps improvements will be made to integration over time. We've also noticed the device activate its lights at random throughout the day/night. A minor annoyance from your thermostat when it distracts you from a movie or conversation. All that aside, we do use and prefer our Google Home for home integration, but hope to further use the ecobee Alexa feature when we move the Home to a new level of the house. To do it all over again, I would have kept the ecobee3 and purchased an additional Google Home. In summary, Thermostat features: AMAZING. Alexa integration: MEH.

LOVING this smart thermostat. Relatively easy to install, Good tech support, really like being able to control it from my computer, iPhone or iPad. Really like the fact you can have extra remote sensors that allow you to control the temp. in rooms rather then in the hall next to the HAVC unit.

I got this due to the old one not working anymore. Installed and setup so that it can be timed, daily program, and set while away. Plus the second sensor allows you monitor different rooms. Best of all is the rebate given by our electric company so check with your local power company
