I love the ecobee since you can add auxiliary items in like a humidifier that some others do not play with. The X ternal room sensor is great for knowing temperature in different levels of the house. It was easy to install and set up. The speaker on the unit is good for listening to music In the hall where the thermostat is

Easy to I stall, alexa enabled, works good. No issues.

Wow the install was amazingly easy and I had to use the provided adapter in my furnace. I love the product and with the rebates it was not pricey at all. The rebates can all be done right ponline and we’re super easy as well. The only down fall is that it requires you have another memebership to Amazon music to play some songs and some features of the Amazon Alexa you can’t use. The speaker quality seems fine to me. I’m not playing music for the whole house on my thermostat just in the little area.

When buying this thermostat I looked for one that was easy to install and read and looked good in my living room. It was all of these things came with a sensor and 2 sensors were shipped to me later for free. Seems to meet all that I wanted. And rebates are available with utilities make sure you check with them before or after you purchase.

Beware, do not purchase without install if you do not know some wiring basics. Once installed works great. Downside is having to wait 30 for feedback on system performance.

The ecobee4 was a great investment! I was torn between the ecobee4 and the Nest, as I use Nest's cameras, and would have liked to integrate the thermostat into the same ecosystem. However, being an Apple fan, I intend to dabble into Apple Home (Kit) much more once the HomePod is released, and the ecobee4 will work with it, as opposed to the Nest. I also like the remote temp sensors, as they have aided in our HVAC system working much better to correctly and evenly distribute the correct temp air throughout our home.

Easy to install and set up. Use the Ecobee app for set-up. The online website is also very easy to navigate and to use to program your thermostat. The sensor is nice because you can use it to set the temperature in the room the sensor is in, versus where the thermostat is. I'm hoping to get more sensors soon.

This is a great product. Worth the investment. The advanced features allows you to take full control of your HVAC system.

In terms of smart thermostat, the Ecobee4 seems to be the echelon of current day thermostats. Improvements from the Ecobee3 design and functionality plus the unnecessary built in feature of Alexa, Amazon's echo technology. The thermostat does everything I wanted in terms of a smart thermostat. The app for phone and computer work great. The only minor issue I have with the thermostat comes with the set schedule. When making the schedule for temperature preference, if the Ecobee does not sense your home, it will default to the away setting which I set as a 5 degree difference. My thermostat is located upstairs, and when home, I don't walk upstairs constantly so Ecobee thinks I'm away as it doesn't sense home presence. Also, Alexa is a nice feature, but not necessary. It doesn't seem to function well with the Ecobee itself in terms of being able to set a random temperature only, home and away settings. Also, the built-in Alexa feature does not communicate with other Alexa products, so no voice calls or messages unfortunately. Also, on very rare occasions, Ecobee's Alexa will think I'm talking to it in the middle of the night for some strange reason. The positive side of having the build in Alexa is that it can serve as a communication hub to other smart products in another level of your house if needed. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product, but giving the limitations of Alexa, I'd opt for the Ecobee 3 again as it is much cheaper.

This product was recommended to me by my HVAC service company and he was correct! Very easy to install and a lot of cool features. The ability to adjust the temperature from your cell phone is awesome! I did my research between the ecobee4 and the nest and I definitely made the right choice.

Ecobee was recommended to me by many of my friends. Was easy to install and set up took very little time. I love the built in Alexa feature and a plus was that it came with a sensor to use in a different room. Has made a big difference in cooling and heating our home.

The Ecobee 4 was relatively easy to setup and took about 45 minutes total. It has all functions necessary to complete the install. Alexa feature is great for someone who wants music in different rooms or a weather check when you wake up. I highly recommend as a upgrade from older analog units.

I've never installed a thermostat before. The instructions that came with it, made it a breeze to install. It was also easy to learn how to use. It seems to keep the house at a comfortable temperature at all times and also learns when I'm not home to save energy. I would recommend.

The installation instructions were very easy and detailed, they even included stickers for labeling the wires. The product is very easy to use. Only thing I don't like is if you manually set a temp it will hold this indefinitely where others would go back to the schedule after a period of time.

I’ve owned multiple connected TStats over the last few years. This one is light years ahead of even the most recent one I’ve owned. Super easy to install and setup and I love the smart home/away feature. This thing is actually set it and forget it and enjoy the energy savings. The integrated Amazon Alexa is a nice touch, but I prefer my standalone Echo better. Anyone looking for a connected thermostat should put this one at the top of their list.

I love this new purchase. It is easy to use and it is more efficient to keep the house at a comfort level. I did have some difficulty with the installation because I live in an old house with an old furnace, and apparently there was some wiring issues on our end. But a friend of mine who is an electrician called customer service and the literally step by step walked him through the process, sending customer service pictures of the wiring. It was a huge help. So, if you're a single woman with no one to help install, I recommend having Best Buy Geek Squad do the install. It's about 100.00 and well worth is to make sure it is installed correctly. I actually wish I had just done that originally instead of waiting for a friend or bothering a friend. The Ecobee has great features and easy to use on my end with Alexa or the App. I got the Ecobee 4 because it was on sale, but if you're trying to save money the Ecobee 3 is just as good it just doesn't have Alexa built in.

I have one of these and decided to buy one for my folks. It took me 10 minutes to tear down the old unit and add the new one. They Love being able to change the temp from either Alexa or their phone, and the fact that they can control the room temp where they lounge.

I am very happy with this thermostat. Because of this device, we discovered that our Aux (Emergency heat) was not setup correctly. I received an alert that the system was calling for heat but the upstairs temperature was continuing to drop. When the HVAC service man arrived, he discovered that the person that installed our system, never hooked up the heat strips! For the last 5 years, our downstairs was compensating for our upstairs and we didn't know it. Ecobee was able to track temperatures and tell something was wrong. We would have just assumed that our system was struggling because of the low outside temps. I like being able to see a runtime history. It is very helpful. I can operate the controls from anywhere. Most of all, I am super happy with the remote sensors. For the first time ever, my daughter's room stays warm and when the sensors do not detect that we are home, it adjusts the temp to save energy. Of course, all of that is customizable.
