    I bought this to replace my 6 year old ecobee3 and assumed it would be a simple swap. To my surprise, I looked at the harness and it only had a single R terminal. Please be aware that unlike every other ecobee ever made, this new “Enhanced” model DOES NOT SUPPORT 2-WIRE DUAL TRANSFORMER systems. You have to buy the $250 Premium or the cheaper $150 Lite model. It would be nice if Ecobee made this very clear on their website.

    Ecobee thermostat- DON'T BUY!

    Worst thermostat I ever had. It changes settings at random on its own. That includes changing heat, cool, automatic, and off setting, as well as the temperature settings.

    Makes all your other Alexas in your house USELESS!

    Makes all your other Alexas in your house USELESS! New UI won't allow you to disable the microphone. It takes precedent over all other alexas in your house. Meaning you can be three rooms away right next to a REAL alexa and that alexa won't answer. Your thermostat will answer instead with it's TINY speaker.

    Great when it work but its always going offline because of ecobee servers. Might wanna try a different brand
