I had some initial concerns on how it would incorporate into the app. It was relatively painless! Highly recommend this thermostat. It helps to monitor air quality as well as has the functionality in app to adjust to your household needs. Yes, it’s a little pricey but the ease within the application is beautiful.

Better control over when and how long your hvac runs makes a huge impact on cost. This thing will pay for itself after a few months. Highly recommended! Working with with Apple Homekit and being able to launch your desired temp on the way home from work is awesome!

Brand is just a hype

The first ecobee I bought stopped sending signals to the unit blew a fuse and then tripped the Contactor on the unit and then the thermostat stopped working completely just went black had to replace all three things. Bought another ecobee and same issue after 9 months thermostat stops sending signals to the unit have to bypass the thermostat to get AC unit running. Love the vacation and scheduling features but hate the fact that it has caused so much issues with my unit in a span of 2 years

But ecobee has changed my mind. My house stays at what ever temp I set without the fluctuations of my old analog. And, the ability to set schedules is great! Too many functions to talk about there. But, a big one is thing is saving me money. Electric bill has decreased. That may be the only reason you need to get this ecobee!
