I did have to hook the c wire on our air exchange units. Thankfully the electrician that wired the house curled the blue wire on both ends of the thermostat wiring. Once hooked up everything else was a piece of cake. Love the features.

Easy self-install...followed the written instructions in the box (the app dead-ended, stating: while 95% of systems are compatible, yours isn't one of them). Other than poor directions in the app, happy customer.

I love the Ecobee thermostats! I purchased two for our new home and they work seamlessly together. I had an earlier version of the same until in my previous home and we loved all of the features. The new version has Alexa built in and it works perfectly. Installation took me about 15 mins per thermostat. I would definitely purchase again. I especially love the ability to see comparisons to other homes in my region and to see how you are saving $ by using a smart thermostat.

Very happy with this product. It looks and works great. Didn’t even have it installed for a full month and saw a huge decrease in my electric bill. Built in Alexa allows me to control smart home options effortlessly.

It was so hard to decide on which smart thermostat to buy but I am glad I bought this one... very nice to just set the temp thru alexa... plus you can check it thru the app also and set your desired temp schedule to your liking each day... it helped me save my gas bill already a lot... I love the screen also and it can play music on the thermostat since it's connected to alexa... I'm sure you can use google too.... Good thing it comes with the power adapter if you don't have a blue wiring(power) available, then you can use the adapter to rewire it in your furnace... just follow the instruction... I think it took me 30 - 45 mins since I have to be really careful with setting it up. I got a rebate also when I bought this, $100 came back thru my gas company. Love it!

I installed the thermostat and got it on my network very quickly. It worked as described right away. I really like that Alexa is integrated and the additional sensor with the “follow me” option is excellent.

Very easy to use and setup. Controlling with Alexa or the app makes it even easier. My only problem so far is my system keeps going into aux mode and the app does not notify me so that I can make adjustments incase I'm away from home. I only notice it if I'm walking pass the thermostat itself.

Works perfectly with Smart Things and my Alexa system. Installed myself with no issues. The app is easy to use. A small learning curve on connecting with Alexa and memorizing the voice commands that will work with Alexa.

Great thermostat especially when paired with several smart sensors throughout your home. Excellent support, my wiring was a little different than typical and the ecobee tech support walked me through step by step.

This is awesome. Easy to install, easy to hook up and app is easy to use. Had a little issue with the extra sensor. Had to call customer service for help. They were easy to deal with an had me set up in no time.

Have had it installed for a month now. Purchased an additional two sensors with the original purchase of the ecobee. The sensors keep me informed as to the actual temperatures in various locations in my home. Via playing with various settings I am able to set up my system to provide comfort where it is required. For example after 10pm the only room I am concerned about is my bedroom. So I have the bedroom sensor set as the only relevant sensor after 10pm. I also use the motion detection feature of the sensors to turn the lights on and off in the rooms they are located in.

I updated my old Thermostat to the Ecobee Smart Thermostat. I'm still learning how to program it for my usage. Overall it seems to be very easy.

I am lazy, always cold, so I purchased this so that I could turn the heater on in the morning before I get out the bed, but also I can monitor how often the kids turn the heater on when I’m away. I set up an alarm to email me when the temperature goes above 75, so I can turn it off. The best feature is be able to turn the heater on before I return home on cold days so that the home is warm Be careful with installation because they hooked it up and left and although we heard the sound of air blowing, it was cold. I was without a heater for days in 20 degree weather. The techs aren’t able to do anything, but install. I had to pay an additional $100 for my home insurance to come out only to find out they didn’t check the sensor in the attic which just required a little dusting. They don’t check the temper of the air flowing out of the vent which should be a requirement. I was disappointed because when left a message for the supervisor, he never responded. SMH

Great overall thermostat. Has the ecobee light and upgraded. Great feature of having Alexa built in. Don’t use it as much since I have other echo devices but it’s nice to have that feature.

Like the app was easy to setup. lets me know when the furance is running to long . which is expected in this cold city . like the ability to change heat while out of town . linked with alexa real easy .

It’s pretty basic but it does the job. Helps conserve energy when your not around and you can set geofencing. I like the voice command also and the temperature room sensor it has an eco feature also.

It was time to change my thermostats and the company who provides the warranty for my HVAC wanted to charge almost double for this exact same product great price device has been working awesome!
