Ecobee is very intuitive and easy to install. Follow the on screen directions and you should not have any issues. Integrates well with Amazon Alexa and allows voice control.

This thermostat does everything and then some with the Alexa feature! Also the extra sensor help regulate other parts of the house. I actually add 2 more!

Easy to install and use. I especially like the remote temperature sensor and the ability to turn it off and on remotely. I use the 'countdown timer' function to remind me to change the HVAC filter based upon the time run and don't do it every month. It would help if the countdown clock could be custom hours and not be limited to 100, 200 ect. Would buy it again.

I liked how easy it is to install and the features of the thermostat. They provide a solution to not having a "C wire" (power source for the thermostat) that anyone can install. This is the second time I purchased ecobee and had a c wire available this time so it was super easy to install. I like ecobee for the features and integration with my other smart home devices.

Sold my house and the ecobee 3lite that I had before. The new house didn't have a smart thermostat, so I took the chance and upgraded. Works well, just like I expected from the old 3. Alexa with it is a nice-to-have, but not needed.

Nice thermostat, works really well and the great thing is that it has Alexa enabled. I also like the sensors that we can place in different rooms and it accordingly adjusts the temperature. However, onething I feel could be improved is the user interface, the temperature control dial/panel could be better, as many times the touch is not very smooth or up or down the temperature on the thermostat screen. Hence giving 4 stars, or else its a 5 on quality.

This is my second one and truly love it. Easy to install and controlled by an app!! Love the fact my room stays cool with the other part of my condo!!! So worth it :-)

The thermostat is wonderful. Very easty to operate for the typical home owner. It work perfectly and maintains the temperature as well as it is possible.

I would definitely recommend! It is very easy to install and if you run into any problems, the tech support is awesome.

I live in an older home and my thermostat wiring connection didn't have a "c wire" to provide power, eliminating most other smart thermostats from my purchase decision. The Ecobee came with an adapter which creates a workaround allowing the current wiring to to do the job. I wouldn't say it was easy, but the instructions were very good, stupid proof really, with excellent graphics and videos online to support them if needed. I followed the instructions carefully and when I switched the system back on and the unit lit up and it worked, I was so happy and proud of myself for doing it. Since then it has worked great in both cool and heat settings. I highly recommend this great unit to anyone, might be more expensive for those who don't need the c-wire adapter capability but likely provides features some others don't. But if you are in an older home, this is the way to go, you will be happy with your purchase if you do it. This was my first of two units I installed.

Very easy to install and set up. Works great with it’s own app and HomeKit. Ecobee customer support was also very helpful the only time I had to call. Their support person helped me determine that the furnace was no longer working after power was restored following a storm and long outage. Very pleased with this smart thermostat. Looks nice on the wall too.

The installation was easy and functions perfectly, no more running down stairs to adjust the thermostat all done in the comfort of my bed or even from outdoor.

We bought a new house and the nest gen 3 wouldn't work with the geothermal system. An hvac tech recommended this thermostat and it works great.

I compared against nest and other products and I saw those products from my friends house. Some how I felt this is easier than other with fun. I like a lot.

I upgraded to ecobee smart.. the directions were easy to follow for installation and setup. I like controlling my entire HVAC system from the thermostat.

I was looking for a thermostat that would be compatible with Apple‘s HomeKit. This product works well and makes things easier. I recommend it.

Its an excellent thermometer, it works with Alexa and will even tell you if there could be a problem with your HVAC system. Awesome thermostat.

I consider myself pretty savvy, but this installation did take some time. There was more mechanical installation (e.g. wiring, hooking up to the furnace) than I had expected. However, the interface and the installation manual walk you through it. USE THE MANUAL! The instructions on the apps were not consistent with what actually needed to be done. Also, we have an older furnace and it seems to either overheat or have some issue communicating. The heat kicks off and am not sure if was due to the schedule or just winter and having the heat running constantly. Overall, definitely recommend. Get it on sale because the price is high for the amount of use. Great functionality with schedules and settings. Probably be more useful on newer HVAC systems.

I’ve used Nest before but after 4 years it stopped working. Since I am using Apple home kit and Nest is not compatible without work around, I gave ecobee a try. I can only say that I should have switched way earlier. This thermostat is way more convenient than nest. Installation was very easy and day to day use is more than just intuitive.

I love having Alexa change the temperature and also finding out what the outside temperature is and the forecast for the day! Ecobee works real well.
