Really do love having this thermostat set up.. sometimes Alexa will get confused about which speaker I’m talking to though

This is the best smart thermostat on the market, hands down. I've tried Nest, Honeywell, and a few other no-name brands before trying Ecobee. We now have six installed between my primary residence, vacation home, and my parents house. Don't let the price scare you, they have saved their cost in energy in less than a year for each location. I installed my first one almost 5 years ago and even trying the others since but it's been no comparison. One thermostat is monitoring 3 zones and controlling forced air gas heat, off-peak electric, and a heat pump on a variable drive furnace. Another is on an in-floor radiant heat boiler. I even have one run on a power adapter to control a line voltage electric heater in a garage. By far the most flexible for installation options compared to the others Web connectivity has been great. The new firmware has helped with energy savings even more than basic configurations.

Great item. I've been using the ecobee thermostat for a month now and love it. Great installation and operation instructions, looks very nice on the wall, and can easily be controlled from the display. It's very high tech and can be easily controlled with Siri.

I really enjoy this thermostat. It has all of the features I could want and also acts as an Alexa compatible device.

These are great. My first was a model 3, this is even better. With Alexa built in. Works great for a remote condo.

Bought these thermostats to replace Nests that shorted out. Very easy to use, both on thermostat itself and app.

The thermostat part of it is great. The inbuilt Alexa seems to be buggy for my specific account and hoping that a future bug fix update will take care of it.

This is my ever first smart thermostat and I love it. It was hard to understand all its features first but luckily they upgraded the software pretty soon after I bought it. Now it looks nice. It also works with Alexa so I play songs and kids games to keep kids entertained.

Debated on the Ecobee and the Nest. I decided to go with the Ecobee. I liked that you can add smart room sensors to monitor temps in other areas of your house. Nest also does that but my research showed Ecobee did it better. Also Smartthings integration was a huge selling point for me. The install took about 30 min. I spent more time exploring the app if anything. Would recommend the Ecobee especially right now with the holiday deals.

I purchased the Ecobee with sensor to help in cooling my 2. Story home. My upstairs would always be about 8-10 degrees warmer. With the sensor now the ecobee balances my temp to make my upstairs cooler and more efficient. Installing was a little tricky as I didn’t have a c wire but the directs are laid out with pics and guides you through install. I had to add the adapter provide inside my Furnance which was surprisingly simple. I’m excited to see the ecobee AI feature utilized via schedule setting and learn when we are home. I purchase this over best because of the features

I quiet honestly can give good or bad reviews about this thermostat, reason is the recommendation from a technician that works in Air Condition business, I’ve got him to try and install for me to avoid the hassle and once he knew it was a WiFi controllable thermostat he recommended better to make sure I really wanted one, the WiFi “controlling” feature makes harder for a unit to keep up with variable temperatures over the course of the time thus affecting the life of vital components on your home AC unit, true or false, I’d wait for doing more research and keep me more informed next time.

We bought this to replace the standard issue Vivint "smart" thermostat that came with our home security system. This solution is much smarter - with sensors that know when people aren't in one zone of the house - and automatically senses when the house is empty (and adjusts the temp settings accordingly). Haven't used for a month yet, so not quite sure how the reporting will be.

Easy install and great for HomeKit. New update for optional automatic filter re-ordering through eco-bee.
