We bought this to replace the standard issue Vivint "smart" thermostat that came with our home security system. This solution is much smarter - with sensors that know when people aren't in one zone of the house - and automatically senses when the house is empty (and adjusts the temp settings accordingly). Haven't used for a month yet, so not quite sure how the reporting will be.

Easy to connect and activate. Set up schedules, comfort temperatures, and alerts very easily. Looks good on the wall in the living room. Happy with the potential savings provided by the ECO settings of this learning thermostat.

I have never had my house temperature be the same through out the whole thing. Some how this figures out how to balance the temperature. My Nest didn't and it was causing my brand new furnace to malfunction. My A/C engineer said the Nest has these problems and that Nest knows about it, but they weren't much help trying to deal with the problem. So great news on the Ecobee, bad news on the Nest. It was only two years old.

I finally got to installing this thermostat a couple weeks ago and it’s been great using it. The ability to control everything from your phone makes things super easy. The app is intuitive and the additional sensor has been very convenient as I leave it upstairs during the warm weather. I’d highly recommend for anyone looking to buy a new thermostat. Don’t forget to check if your state or electric company offers any deals!

Installation was easy and fast. Very happy with this purchase and not sad to retire my Nest.

Got one for the upstairs and downstairs units. Can control the AC/Heat with the app or google home.
