The Ecobee Smart Thermostat is among the best in class for smart thermostats. Installation was simple, since I already had a c wire. Installation was simple and I was up and running in under an hour. I’ve had no problems with the thermostat and it’s been reliable for me. The schedules are reliable, the smart sensors do a great job keeping my house at a consistent temperature throughout and I’ve been happy with smart features that save money when nobody is home. HomeKit support is an added bonus. A nice surprise was a recent software upgrade that added support for Siri and the ability to use AirPlay 2 to use the thermostat as a speaker. The sound quality obviously isn’t great, but it can be used for background music and was a nice added feature that wasn’t expected.

The installation instructions make this seem easy, but on older houses, the wiring may not be labeled correctly. I paid to have this installed, and the electrician had a heck of a time getting it installed. Once installed it works as expected. It’s great to be able to control your temperature remotely and the Homekit compatibility is a must. I have yet to use the voice control, but overall a great product. The app to setup and use this is needlessly complicated. It has a lot of great stuff for power users, but all the extra features make the simple stuff harder to find.

So it does what it says, and I've ended up saving a boatload on my energy costs, since I can program this to cut off the AC/Heat when I'm gone and kick back on right before I get home. If you have an older AC unit, I would recommend hiring a professional to install.

Ecobee is a great line of product, new features updates constantly and easy to program!

I love my ecobee, it’s easy to manage. I like that I can change temp or control on my phone.

This is my second time with Ecobee and the newest version has made some great improvements, especially the mini bees. It is easy to use, the app and website are also easy to navigate, and I like the 'follow me' feature that balances the temperature between spaces/levels. I have a basement that is on the same system as the main floor and it has helped keep the basement at a much more comfortable temperature.

Lots of good features, fairly easy install and set up. A couple if error messages while setting up but they were resolved. So far operation is impressive, however, some 3rd party (Homekit) operations are not "behaving" as explained in the guides - not a problem, but not an accurate representation of the explanation provided.

Took less than 30 minutes to install, and works like a charm. Would recommend to everyone.

Easy to install. Only problem was trying to pair a Bose speaker to it. Called support and needed the latest firmware Installed then no problems.

Fairly easy setup. Love the onboard Alexa. Comes with a temp sensor to put in another room. Wish it spun like the nest and it seems the nest software was more intuitive. It will work fine for my house. Their customer service was outstanding and tech support can walk through install if you have a problem
