Excellent product! Easy to install, well thought out and intuitive interface. The phone app and web interfaces are also easy to use and the product works as advertised.

Very easy to install and setup. Bought it for the new A/C we had installed and it is working great. Eazy to control from the thermostat or the Android app.

Couldn’t be easier to install if you have a common wire at your existing thermostat. If not, there’s an adapter that isn’t too difficult to install. Works great with the remote sensor. I can have it prioritize the temperature in my upstairs bedroom at night and the sensor in the thermostat during the day. The iOS app is easy to use and gives me remote control as well as notifications. Very easy to integrate with Apple Home App. Works with Siri, although I wish it didn’t intercept commands to my HomePod.

One of the best purchases I have ever made. Very easy to use and has saved me a ton on my electric bill. Was easy to install and set up.

Transitioned from a poorly functioning Vivint smart thermostat to this one from Ecobee and couldn’t be happier. Accurately reports temperature in multiple rooms with the extra sensor(s) and has done a great job with keeping the internal temp between the ranges set. Highly recommend this thermostat.

Love this thermostat. Alexa built in is awesome. Voice control so convenient. Easy setup. I would definitely recommend this over other WiFi thermostats. Really nice product.

I love my ecobee! I can change the temp quick through my phone or I can just ask Siri! Before I had the most basic thermostat that was basically on or off, now I set schedules so it’s not cooling while I’m gone and by the time I’m home it’s already started Cooling down. Now just an FYI you need the C wire to connect this to power the unit, if not you can install a harness that will send power to the ecobee. I unfortunately didn’t have a C wire so I tried installing the harness but it turned out to be a bit out of my league, ended up hiring a guy who installed it real quick.

Love this thermostat it’s easy to use and looks very nice.I like the schedule you can set up for days and nights. And love how you can use your iPhone with this.

This is a great thermostat with voice control. Can’t wait to learn all it’s features.

Looks great and was easy to install! I had to take the more difficult option for install and still had no problem. The app is confusing but I got the hang of it eventually.

Long time Nest Thermostat owner, I switched to Ecobee after Google's recent changes in Works with Nest program and I am amazed by the new Ecobee Smart Thermostat. It is packed with awesome features, useful reports and the little speaker is perfect for announcements and reminders. Will never look back at Nest.

Bought these when they were on sale to replace the standard thermostats that came with our new ACs. So far so good except I can’t use google home voice commands on/through the thermostat (Alexa is built in I believe). I can control this thermostat using other google home devices though.

Big big fan of this thermostat. We have 3 floors and only one zone, so programming for seasons and tweaking can be a pain. This system has a sensor for the other floors and learns your patterns, and adjusts accordingly. There is also a utility rebate of $100. Don’t forget to get that!

Install ended up being tricky. Have forced hot water heat and central air. Thought I had a red/common wire but no luck. Ended up having to have a wire pulled from my AC. So just make sure you know what you have got before trying. Features are great. Like the app and the data.

I purchased the ecobee smart thermostat with voice control and two extra sensors instead of a nest thermostat because: 1. The software is much more user-friendly due to the constant updates which since February I have been more than 12 making it better and I have not had any problems with bugs of any sort. When I compare the ecobee software to google moving everyone from Nest App to google home app the ratings on the ecobee app are much higher much more user-friendly than the Google home app instead of Google nest app! 2. The sensors work on a 900 MHz system which is a low frequency communication between the main thermostat and the sensors so if the Wi-Fi is down the thermostat can operate independently and still communicate with the built-in sensor in the unit of course and then the three sensors I have throughout the house. Advantage to the 900 MHz frequency in the transmission is that being a low frequency it will go through walls and doors and have a good reception in the far reaches of the house through walls. With the Google nest that you cannot do everything on the thermostat itself so you have to have the app to have complete control of everything available. 3. The ecobee thermostat also can operate as a standalone in the event of no Wi-Fi available and you can do everything on the thermostat and more than you can do on the app, contractor settings are also available on the thermostat itself when I research the nest top-of-the-line thermostat if you didn’t have Wi-Fi and software control from your phone you could not do everything on the thermostat itself. 4. I also like the integration on ecobee with Alexa and then Apple if you want to use it. 5. After three months of using the ecobee system with three sensors off unit total I have no cons against my house it has been a great system and very reliable and virtually bug free, at least in the no bugs I haven’t run into over three months.

The Ecobee is the best smart thermostat around. This was EASY to install and setup.

Functionally working well, and pretty easy to install. But the display is a little bit disappointing, thought it could display like the Google nest. But it’s a very good thermostat for Apple HomeKit.

Great product! My only issue is that there should be a fan on setting or an option to turn the fan on for a set time and shut off. It does have a fan setting but it runs until you turn it off. Still much recommended especially working well with my Smartthings System.

Great thermostat. Works well with Siri and SmartThings. Integrates well with our house and the remote sensor helps to keep our bedroom at comfortable temps.
