Love this thermostat. The display is nice and it looks really good on the wall. The smart sensor is nice so i can decide where I want to base the temperature.

Easy to install and the special room sensor always keeps you comfortable. If you like to have lots of control Ecobee is the way to go.

Expensive but worth while for complete control over your AC system especially with the smart sensor pair with it. Very comprehensive instructions, comes with an additional power pack in case you have no common wire at the thermostat. Found it easy to set up by following the directs just make sure you understand what the different colored wires are: yellow - compressor, red - power, green - fan or if multiple greens various fan speeds. Blue - common. Also has pretty intuitive user interface and flexible installation advanced features

I think this is a great product, however the app is confusing. At times, there is not enough time to input. As a result, I don't even know how to connect the little white accessory (???) to the ecobee, hence what it can do. I had thought about take it back and return to the old thermostat. Maybe ecobee would reach out to us and offer some support & guidance.

I’m glad that my thermostat is now smart. I bought the new ecobee because it is compatible with all the major home assistants (Siri, Google, Alexa, and Cortana). Also like the fact it regulates the temperature in the house whenever I am away. Just hope they will release a feature for their Switch+ soon which will enable their temperature sensors to work with the device.

Easy to install and wore. Did require website for wiring info.

This is actually the unit I went with after looking at the nest also. They seem to be the same when all is said and done. This unit however didn't take power from another cable, and Im told that my ac unit can be sensitive. Not sure if it matters, but wanted to play it safe.

Easy setup and connection. No need for an electrician. Easily connects to Wi-Fi sand touch screen is responsive.

We had 2 Ecobee thermostats in our last home. Far superior to traditional programmable thermostats. Now, we are moving and it is one of my first purchases. IUt really does learn your behaviors and adjust. Also love that Siri can control and not just Alexa

We LOVE our ecobee thermostat...the options you have to setup have saved us money (along with a new HVAC system) decreased my utility bill $22 a month after 1st year of use. I like that you get sensor with unit, just wish maybe getting two instead of just one. When you make a purchase after the fact you have to buy a two pack of sensors. It was VERY easy to switch from our old thermostat to this new ecobee. Just setup your account online and you get notifications via text and emails. Customer service is a great help if & when needed

Much better than my last one I used (Honewell). Works well with HomeKit. Easy install and setup. Can be a bit confusing with Homekit but if you remember that Homekit overrides any setting you have in the Ecobee you will be fine. Their customer service is as good as Apple's.

I love having Alexa capabilities with our Ecobee thermostat. I like be seeing the indoor and outdoor temp at a quick glance. Our furnace quit working in the middle of the night and the ecobee sent us an email letting us know what the problem was, so cool and so helpful.

Excellent- takes a while to get to know how to use it but it's the best out there. I love the voice feature and I can use it with siri

Install was easy and Alexa has been useful. Heat works excellant

You believe in your mind that you can set this thing up without calling in...think again. You end up with something requiring inside knowledge that certainly wasn't in the directions. A quick call and you're off. Don't delay thinking you got it...you don't.

This is my third ecobee (including the ones I bought as gifts), this is a must have product for any home and strongly recommended for a multi level house. Ecobee and sensor balanced about 5F difference between two levels in my house within 4hrs of installation.

Easy interface, nice options and seems reliable. It is worth hiring some to install though. Initially I could not get it to work, only to find the original control wiring in the house was not installed correctly. Very happy. Wish it worked with HomeKit though.

I can't give a complete review because ice only had the product a few days installed. I'll definitely update as soon as I've head dinged time to fully evaluate the product. I will say if aesthetics are a big deal for you, this is a fantastic choice.

Upgraded from the Nest to the ecobee 5. I live in a two story house and have always had issues keeping the second floor at the correct temperature. With the ecobee 5 remote sensor, I am now able to keep any room my desired temperature.

By far, this is the absolute best smart voice control thermostat on the market along with an excellent app for your smartphone. I have (2) of these ecobee smart voice control thermostats in my tri-level two-zone home in Phoenix AZ and they work wonderfully. BestBuy does have these on sale from time to time, so don't delay, if you want to upgrade your old dinosaur thermostat, this is the new and best thermostat you can buy.
