By far the best smart thermostat on the market. Super easy to install and wonderful customer service. Its a little sad the electric supplier discounts have ended, that's the only bad thing to say. Ecobee should be proud of this product.

This ecobee thermostat is great. I can control it from any Google Home device or Alexa device with a voice command. I can also control it with the app on my phone. It works just like an Alexa and can give you any information an Alexa device can give: play music, what's the weather, news, where's my stuff (for Amazon orders) etc. . I have the extra room sensor in the master, and can regulate the temperature for that room without having a zone controlled furnace.

I got the ecobee Smart Thermostat to replace a cheap knock-off smart thermostat that was supposed to be accessible over the Internet. However, that device kept loosing it's mind and forgetting how to talk to the Internet. Since I replaced it with the Ecobee. I've not had any problems accessing the thermostat. The built-in Alexa voice control is an added bonus, allowing me to stream music and control other devices. The additional sensor keeps the temperature more even across multiple spaces. I may add a few more sensors in the future. All in all, I'm happy with my new thermostat, and love that I can actually control it from anywhere I have Internet access.

The Ecobee was simple to install and we had it up and functioning right away. Works great with Alexa, too.

Good overall. First smart thermostat I’ve owned. I like the additional temp sensor but the Alexa feature is pretty much useless. The thermostat itself has no Alexa integration so although you can ask Alexa what the weather is she cannot make any changes to the thermostat itself. Overall an okay product.

Good thermostat. Easy to use, and the additional temperature sensor really helps keep energy use efficient. We put it in our bedroom, which tends to get warmer than the rest of the house. It helps keep the heat from running too much to even out the rest of the house and consequently overheating the bedroom when we're in there. The Smart Away feature is a little wonky, though, and it's too bad you can't set it for more than one phone. Once I leave, it'll turn off the heating system even though the home sensor shows it being occupied. Also, playing Spotify through Alexa is an issue because it literally won't stop unless I unplug the thermostat.

I would rather have used this than a Goggle-anything Ugh. But the instructions called for a common wire which I didn't have. Frankly doubt it's needed but I'm not an electrician so I returned. Had an ecobee before they're awesome

Love this thermostat. Very clean and sleek look. Has helped lower our energy bill, and works seamlessly with smartphone.

For my application, worked great, better than NEST

Excellent purchase. I upgraded an old thermostat that was installed when my home was built. It’s smart, has Alexa voice command features, and can also play Spotify music. I like to play elevator music from it when people come over.

Installed this in our 30+ year old home. Before installing, bedrooms were hot in winter, cold in summer. With a remote sensor, the temperature is perfect and steady. Will pay for itself. Installation is a little tricky.

This thing is so much better than the old unit it replaced. So much you can do with this, and the Alexa functionality is awesome. I like looking at all of the advanced metrics you get. It will be interesting to see if this helps save money.

Great IoT device with lots of functionality and easy setup. Check your furnace to make sure the necessary signals are available. I ended up wiring the included adapter and later found the common wire was not connected on the furnace side.

I absolutely love this thermostat. The app works great. I love being able to control my AC unit from work.

Really like the thermostat. I keep the Alexa feature muted since we have another device in close proximity so haven’t used that. The app is easy to use and this is the better buy of the thermostats imo given the included sensor.

Swapped out our builder-grade thermostats for these when they went on sale. It's nice being able to average out the temps using the additional sensors if the thermostat isn't in the room. I can also have the thermostat not use the onboard sensor in the hallway but just use the in-room sensor. Super helpful in keeping more realistic temps in the house. Love the ability to use the app for controlling the temps and adjusting settings.

I have been very pleased with my ecobee. I had the 3rd gen Nest for about a year, and I really loved it too, but it just didn’t seem compatible with my 2 stage heat pump. So I decided to try ecobee and so far it’s worked very well! I enjoy the data on the website as well. I appreciate the sensor for a spare room, I have a small house but I still use it and have no complaints. Overall I would recommend this product.

Easy to install and easy to use. Having Amazon assistant built is nice as well.
