There are probably better thermostats out there but I have had these in two homes now and they work as intended. Have two in my current home and they work well together.

Fantastic smart thermostat. Love the Apple Homekit integration and even the Ecobee app. Was easy to install and we chose to manually program. Works very reliably and intuitively. Highly recommend this exact model, especially to Apple iPhone/iPad owners. Has broad support with Alexa/Google as well.

Had the ecobee for almost a year and it is a very nice smart thermostat. It gives you a monthly report and see how your home is performing compared to other houses in the area. Thermostat works well with Alexa. The only hard part is the wiring if you have an older HVAC system.

I recently installed Aprilaire 800 steam humidifiers in my house. I was forced to replace my Nest gen 3 thermostats as they don't do a good job of controlling the humidity. I purchased two Ecobee smart thermostats and the install was uneventful. Mechanically everything works fine. The app is awful. Often times it can't connect to their cloud service only to magically start working again. When it does connect, it makes you click multiple times in order to see how your system is operating. Some menu items are only available on the thermostat while others are available in the app and thermostat. Reporting requires you to log into a website completely outside of the app. Alerting worked once but never again. When reaching out to tech support with a simple question, it took an unusual amount of time to receive a response. The response that I did receive was a copy/paste canned response with zero input on the questions that I specifically asked. The technician assigned to my case did try to explain that humid air is heavier than dry air. Hmm. The last time I checked it rains from the sky not the ground. To summarize, the thermostat is smart, the app and tech support are not.

Very easy install due to nicely laid out instructions! Definitely works as promised!

Best smart thermostat. Threw away my nest when google couldn't get my account set up correctly. More reliable more user friendly and more features without the necessity of a google account. Very happy. Don't regret throwing the nest out at all although it worked fine before they sold to google.

My house has never been so comfortable! This thermostat is very intelligent and keeps a nice balance throughout our home.

Not cheap but most everything y0u would want in a smart thermostat... and their support is VERY valuable!

This is the second ecobee smart thermostat I have purchased and installed. Both times I replaced existing smart thermostats. Installation, programing and connecting to Alexa were easy and relatively quick. I would highly recommend this product to friends and family.

Would be better if could change it from "alexa" to another trigger word like other alexa devices. Other that awesome!

It works just like it is advertised to. Sometimes the Alexa feature doesn’t respond with an appropriate answer to a request. Easy set up in the ecobee app.

No more walking to the thermostat in another room. The phone app is great but.i enjoy the connection with Alexa.

Great upgrade to my house. My city offered $100 in rebates so definitely more than worth it! Recommended 5/5

I have yet to install this replacement for my ecobee4, but its speakers and mics are supposed to be improved over the previous Gen. I will update my review once I get moved in.

Update my first generation ecobee thermostat , really like this one , got a good price. Like the sensor that came with it

This is the one to get! Easy to use, easy to program, easy to monitor. We installed this ourselves, took about an hour (including using the included wiring harness) -- no problems and no need to call an electrician :) Don't forget to check for rebates from utility companies.

If you own a home and like to save money on Bill's this is a must have easy to install n convenient to use

Challenging installation, however it’s a terrific product. Move the room temperature with a touch of my phone. Very easy

Had the older model but moved and upgraded to this. The sensors have a much nicer design but it’s nice that it still pairs with the older ones that we still had.

Easy to set up, managing temperature is easy and remote sensor is an excellent tool to assist the comfort level.
