I was going to purchase the Nest but after reading reviews I decided to go with this gem. I don’t regret it one bit.

Wow what’s product, great instruction to install. Love that it came with the PDX converter to access the blue wire. Super simple walkthrough once powered up. Also like the Eco+ setup. Also like that it shows you graphs online when logged in to show power usage

Absolutely amazing. Our basement was always freezing but putting the sensor down there really helped balance out the cooling. Also tracks if someone isn’t in an area of the house and heats/cools based on the rooms people are in. Also super easy to install.

This is a great thermostat. The sensor works better than I thought it would. Evens the house out very good.

I've been using a Nest thermostat for the past 8 years and became frustrated in my ability to use my HVAC system to its fullest. I have a fresh air damper the was not compatible with Nest and was also limited on the schedules and sensors. With Ecobee, I have the flexibility to customize schedules with greater options, for instance during the summer when my HVAC is set to cool, during my children's naps times, I can run the fan automatically to help their rooms keep good air circulation. I can also use the free cooling feature that allows the HVAC to open the fresh air damper during cool nights instead of running the AC. I think Nest is better for your average Jo, and an Ecobee is for tech folks that really want to get into the settings and leverage the features. The reporting is also much better with the ecobee, I can tell when the system ran, from what time to what time and it goes back years instead of just a week. The downside is that the app is limited and some settings you need to change on the ecobee itself and reporting is best done from a computer (hence the 4 stars) I'm glad I made the switch and just regret I didn't make it sooner.

This device makes it so easy to control the climate in my house and Alexa makes it even easier. I have seen a great reduction in my bills since I installed. I have no experience with installing things like this and I got it done in 15 minutes.

Very good thermostat. Alexa ability is spotty, seems to go out a lot. But easy to use, set up, and establish schedules. Multiple sensors helps.

Easy installation. The thermostat, mobile-app, remote room sensor, and device functionalities provides ease of use. The active room / movement sensor designed to adjust to home/away preprogrammed settings is a economic and environmental game changer.

I definitely enjoy having a smart thermostat and it’s a huge upgrade compared to what I had. I don’t love the way the scheduling works on the app.

Before purchasing I read reviews for several thermostats. The Ecobee always had the best reviews. The installation instructions were very easy to understand. The installation took less than 20 minutes. Programming was easy via the website. I highly recommend this thermostat.

I love the ability to set programs, alter them, and use the voice control with other smart home devices.

Picked this smart thermostat over other brands because of the ability to control our whole home humidifier. Easy to use and program via the app and nice to expand the sensors to make the house more balanced. Noticed less hot/cold spots throughout the house.

Got rid of the nest and decided to go with the ecobee thermostat, best decision i ever made!

First smart thermostat i have owned and purchased and love it so far. Great features like changing the temperature from your phone, can set schedules and the sensor allows you to he comfortable in the room you are in. Only downfall is that the temperature will be set to 70 and it will often only be 69 and the temperature will not go to set temperature.

Best thermostat in the market. Reviewed many others, but this specific Ecobe came out on top.

We have heard a lot about how Google tracks our use of our nest thermostat. We picked this up at Christmas to use as well as love the external sensor.

Easy to install. Great product support by ecobee. They answered all questions on wiring.

Excellent smart thermostat, fairly easy to navigate and set up. The extra room sensor works great. My only complaint, is the alerts do not show up as a banner on the screen, I only receive emails, that could easily be missed or forgotten.

The device failed just past the 90 day warranty, support is EXTREMELY hard to contact and extraordinarily slow (days between email replies). Additionally, none of the monthly reports generated and support just says they’re “aware of the problem”. Complete waste of money, garbage product and horrible service.
