As one of the few smart thermostat companies that haven't been purchased by a larger entity, I love Ecobee products. The fact that it works with Google, Amazon, Apple, Samsung, and so on makes it a great investment to your smart home that will keep up with your changing ecosystems. Being able to add remote temperature sensors makes it easy to control the temp around your home, and the application is always snappy to use. One downside I have is that the wifi connection often drops, and the unit has to be manually connected to Wi-Fi instead of logging back in automatically. I believe this has to do with my router combining both 2.4 and 5.0 onto one name, a very common function in Google and Asus Routers. Other than that small gripe, this has been a great thermostat to use and it gets better over time.

Good buy if you're in the market for a thermostat.

Liked how the set up is easy. Alexa sounded weird at the beginning but is really useful.

Great smart thermostat. All the features you would need. Only issue is when Ecobee server goes down causing loss of connection in the app. They need to implement a way to manually select a comfort setting since I need AC on when gaming. Other than that, every sets up easy and is user friendly.

This is my 2nd purchase of one of these ecobee thermostats. I got to for another home. I Love Love this purchase and would recommend it to everyone. my electric bill went down too much. you defiantly get your moneys worth out of it!!

I love the ecobee voice control thermostat it works great & the sensor is on point.

Overall I like the thermostat, it works well. It has been a bit of adjustment as it tries to manage the temp based on occupancy, I think for it to work to it full potential I will need additional sensors in the bedrooms. Seems to get too warm in the entire house while sleeping.

Works as intended very easy to use once you figure out the schedule part setting your desired comfort settings definitely takes some patience. Got it down within a day or two, great rebate for your electric company.

Positive: The only reason I purchased this, was for the remote sensor. I can now control the heat in a bedroom, instead of a hallway. Negative: It was much easier programing my original thermostat than this one. It took me a while to figure out, but there is more functionality in the app, than the actual thermostat. Support took >1 week to reply - i would have returned the item if i did not finally find the desired functionality in the app (creating new comfort settings). The UI may look nice, but it's a pain to adjust the temperature 1-2 degrees; need to touch and slowly slide one's finger up or down the temp line. The traditional thermostats are so much easier, with a simple 1 or 2 taps on a button.

Easy install and easy to use. I love being able to control the settings from my phone. I have not got an electric bill yet, so I can not report on if my bill will be going down.

My 4 year old loves asking Alexa the weather. The set up was easy as can be.

Have been a proud Ecobee owner for several years and this upgrade is definitely worth it! Better screen and Alexa addition is awesome

The thermostat is good, Alexa not so much. The speaker sound is very low, even when turned all the way up.

My wife connected this in minutes and it works with Alexa easily

This seems like a good thermostat. We just installed and it was user friendly.

This is an excellent choice, which I made over the Google Nest. The Ecobee SmartThermostat w/ Voice Control has all the features you can ask for. The software and apps for iPhone and iPad are excellent and easy to use. Since I hooked it up to a single-stage heating and cooling, I found no need to use the advanced features called Eco+. I also want to add that the Ecobee Customer Support is excellent. They really care about the product and are available with a short turnaround. It is also Alexa-enabled, Siri, and Apple HomeKit enabled. I'm currently using the Alexa features. If you're ready for smart thermostat technology, you can't go wrong with Ecobee!
