Got this so I could use Siri/Homekit to control my heat/ac. Works great. Acts as another place for Siri to answer/talk. Can also use it as an airplay speaker, but obviously sound quality isn't very good, but OK for a podcast. One note, depending on when the device was boxed, you may need to call them to push the firmware to support Siri/Homekit. Great tech support. Had a human to talk to in 10 seconds.

Great thermostat. Easy to install. Need C wire. But overall well worth the money

Bought this since this is the only thermostat that can connect to my humidifier but really haven't seen much in humidity tracking

This is a great thermostat, we had cold spots in the house because it a quad level. The thermostat and extra with the room sensor seems to have solved the problem.the heat in the house seems much more even. This also works with a variable speed furnace fan that is on all the time. The Nest does not. Alexa doesn't work very well though not easy to get her to change the temp. But really haven't needed it. hope cooling next summer works was well.

This item is great, but installation is a little confusing. The thermostat has many many capabilities that i haven't even figured out yet. But one thing is fir sure. That is buying from Best Buy was the absolute right decision. They got the product here quickly and everything was great about the experience. I did have to call Ecobee's tech support and they stayed on the line until everything was working correctly

Purchased this to replace a Honeywell T6 Pro that came installed in my unit. I had the original Ecobee and remembered it being easy to install and use. Occasionally it would slip offline, which turned out to be because it only had 2.4GHz WiFi in it. So when I heard they finally added dual-band support to this, I was on-board because I also liked the reporting features and the room sensor. After purchasing it, I held onto it until I moved. I took pictures of how all the wiring for the existing thermostat was and swapped the units. With all the connections running to the same place, the unit wouldn't work at all. I played around with switching some cables around and finally got it to cut on but then it was showing it was cooling on the thermostat and the apartment was heading over 80 degrees (even though the unit showed it was supposed to be set on like 74). Called Ecobee and they weren't really helpful. They basically said I might need to hire an electrician to come out and install it -- yeah because $250 is not enough to spend on a thermostat. In the end I ended up playing around with it for a few days and just couldn't get it to work and turns out it was purchased 1 day before the COVID exception date so now I'm stuck with it. Also worth noting for $249 the face on this has not protection. Just from taking it on and off the wall to play with the wirings it had a ton of hairline scratches all over the face. I'm honestly not even sure how they got there because it was just going onto the countertop on a microfiber cloth. And these are IN the display - I tried buffing them out with some screen-cleaning solution I have for computer screens and nothing. You'd think if you were going to spend all the money to give off a premium appearance (i.e. the aluminum stand on the remote sensor that you may or may not use) -- maybe spend some money to make the part you're definitely going to use (i.e. the screen) more premium and maybe not so sensitive to scratching?

Love my Ecobee Thermostats. I have them connected to Apple Homekit, one upstairs and one downstairs. They are very reliable and have saved me lots of money by being more efficient with my AC. With the Homekit integration I get full access to my thermostats from anywhere in the world. I do think they are a little big and not the most attractive thermostat on the market, but this is not a big concern for me.

I was using a Nest Learning Thermostat and if failed on me after 2 years. Purchased another Nest Thermostat and it started dropping Wifi connection and would just go blank for awhile before working again. So I decided to give Ecobee a try. So far I am happy with it. I do like the much larger face on it and it is always showing what the thermostat is doing, unlike the Nest, which would go blank until is sensed movement

Great smart thermostat easy to install and set up . I have two in different locations works great.

Easy set up and works great! If you need, there is a video online that will walk you through set up.

It was a gift for my friend who likes new gadgets. Works well, that’s what he didn’t have before

When they say this is smart, it’s smart. It now sets it self based off our routine. Awesome product!

My Honeywell thermostat broke so I did my research and the ecobee was the clear choice. I had some questions while setting it up and their customer support was excellent. I never felt rushed, it was a very friendly, productive call. It's quite different from the Honeywell regarding menu layout, etc. but it makes sense once it is installed and you use it...highly recommended!

So far so good with these two thermostats I had purchased. East to install and use.

Easy to install and now that you can use Siri on it natively it is pretty sleek
