Equally great as Nest

I had almost decided to go with Nest again; however, I decided to give Ecobee a try. For my usage, I don't really see Ecobee being any better than Nest. One thing I like is that it came with one extra remote sensor and that has helped regulate temperature downstairs a bit better. Ecobee app also feels slower than Nest app.

Overall a great addition

It took a little to get used to the customization settings, but once I did I feel as though my ac runs way more efficiently than prior. I think if your someone who is always changing the temperature, or prefers to alter it based on the time of day, this would be a great thermostat for you!

Smart thermostat

My upstairs one decided to die so I upgraded and love it. Very easy to install and when I did run into a little issue Ecobee’s customer service was awesome and fixed it right away. My only complaint is Alexa has issues sometimes which can be frustrating but other than that works great!

blank screen on my ecobee

Need to call their customer service as the screen has gone completely blank in this unit only twice now. not disconnecting as I’m still able to adjust using the app. if I unseat it from the base and reconnect it , it seems to work for a day or 2. then it goes blank again. I’ll move it to 5 stars if their customer service is able to help me fix the issue.
