Great product, easy installation mas easy to manage

Much better than NEST, accurate control, easy to install

I like how easy it was to set up this thermostat to my many schedules, like sleep, morning, mid-day etc. It even tells me what the degrees is outside. When you download the app you can control the temperature from anywhere. I like that feature. I has come in handy in more than one occasion. There are so many options on this new smart thermostat than the old ones. Definitely worth the buy!

Intuitive, useful unit. Installation was ... straightforward (pro tip: Take a picture of the wiring of your OLD unit before you rip it out). The mounting plate is a *little* thin, which can cause it to flex and make the final mounting a hair tricky, but that's the only negative comment I'd offer. I'd buy it again, and recommend is highly.

Good product can be used to control home temperature

I'm happy I bought this thermostat. I had some issues installing the unit as it seems my C wire has a break in it somewhere, so it wouldn't start up. I called support and the agent was very helpful troubleshooting and getting it working. The Thermostat has been working great ever since.

Ecobee's most expensive thermostat but plenty off advanced features. You can average the temperature between multiple sensors; only one included. You can have the thermostat adjusted based upon who is at home, room occupancy, time, grid load. Took two tries to get paired properly with Apple HomeKit.

Very happy that this unit allows you to add in controls for external equipment such as humidifiers. Definitely more accurate than the manual control that comes with the humidifier unit. Overall, no gripes about the general functionality of the unit in terms of temp control.

Really easy to install, good smart termostat that I'm able to control trough voice.

I love the idea of a smart thermostat... this is the first one i've ever tried, but i figured what the heck, I just bought a brand new unit from Trane, let's go all out. My unit, from Trane, is a Heat Pump, so a word of caution about this review... you may not have these issues if you have a traditional furnace...I just don't know, but I can tell you for sure, with the old thermostat, the one that came w/ the Heat Pump, I never had a single problem. Now? Nothing but problems. I have been on the phone 4 different times with Ecobee. Each and every time, all they do is tell me I need to have a licensed electrician come out and resolve my issue. My issue isn't wiring! The old thermostat works flawlessly. I even re-installed the old one and ran it for a day just to verify. The issue lies somewhere in the settings... of which, Ecobee gives next-to-zero support or direction. I've been at the mercy of YouTube and Google searches, almost all of which apply to either EcoBee Pro or EcoBee 3 - neither of which have the same settings options as this unit. I tried to return the thermostat to Best Buy - and they want a restocking fee, which I refuse to pay, so it looks like I'm either stuck with it - or need to sell it second hand. One thing is for sure - I will never trust the "EcoBee" brand name again.

It's okay. Doesn't quite meet my expectations. It is difficult to change set temperature by only one or two degrees. Set up was easy.

Very pleased ! Love the ease of use just might need to calibrate a few degrees higher.
