My favorites smart home device. compatibility with the most amount of systems such as google, Alexa, smart things, Apple HomeKit, etc. Plus their other devices like cameras and security are amazing functionality with this as its heart.

This thermostat comes with a "power extender kit" - I installed it perfectly, and it powered up for about 3 minutes, and then it blew the fuse inside my furnace. My HVAC contractor told me that that is common with these. If you don't already have a common wire, you can't use this, even though the package says that you can. Other than that - the installation was easy and smooth, it just does not work as described.

I really like this thermostat. Besides the ease and convenience of being able to control through my phone, it has pretty accurate readings of the temperature and turns on and off at the right times to ensure the rooms are at the temperature that I like. The sensor and built-in Alexas are also big bonuses,

Absolutely love this thermostat. It’s nit as pretty as the best but it plays Spotify and I do like this feature. I still haven’t figured out the Alexa stuff. It works with HomeKit which is amazing because that is primarily what I use and I love the convenience of this. Customer service is amazing.

It works with Homekit, which Nest does not. That's the primary selling point - if you have a HomePod, or use the Home app, you can change the temperature remotely, and make temperature changes happen in Automations. This version is a little higher quality - it has a glass front, instead of plastic.

Bought this to replace a failed Ecobee. I love this thermostat. Customer service is outstanding and very helpful in setting up all the features. With added Siri I’d even better. This thermostat has an incredible amount of parameters that can be adjusted.

I was totally thinking I'd be in trouble installing this, I'm not handy. Of course I called tech support, and I'll say it plainly. ECOBEE has the best support I've ever experienced!! I was on the line with them for 2 hours, and it ended up flawless! Amazing support makes this with every penny!!!!!

God sent. No more running downstairs to adjust the temperature.

Love being able to just tell our Alexa devices to change the temperature. I don’t even have to think about it, I just say if I’m hot or cold and it does the thinking for me! We haven’t had it installed for a full month yet but I am excited to see how the ecobee+ features help us even more!

Easy instruction and simple navigation. This was an upgrade from the ecobee 3 lite that we previously had. Alexa is quickly responsive and the speaker is clear and easy to hear. The sensor works great and definitely makes a difference in having an accurate temperature.

Compare to nest, it’s not Al smart, but it has good features

Overall great product... but you need a common wire or an unused green wire if you plan on installing yourself. If you don’t have either .... call a pro...They need to do some electrical work at your boiler or furnace... Its what I did and it was worth it. The portable sensor is great as it helps keep your whole area at the same temp. Solid technology and user friendly.

Bought this for my mother-in-law as we transition her into the digital, smart home universe. We have two in our house and they've made such a difference in energy savings, accessibility, and automation. Picked ecobee over Nest after months of research, and I have made the right choice.

Ecobee works great. Only a bit of a learning curve to understand all the settings/menus, but there is plenty of help and discussions online if you look around for advanced information. Paired with the new smart sensors, this is the best thermostat system out there today.

Love this thing. In a smaller apt, so had to disable the voice becuase it would pick up Alexa asks from other rooms. But has really helped us save on our utilities. That plus the recurring rebates for participating in eco+, can't complain.

Works well and as advertised. Sleek looking and provides a wide variety of information that I frequently review during each day. Make it easy to review settings anytime from anywhere as long as wifi present. And, just as easy to alter the settings. Thermostat can be set to operate quite efficiently under most conditions.

This is the 2nd Ecobee I've owned. Great product. I had a Nest before this and I like how the Ecobee averages the temperatures between the rooms that you set. Like being able to control the temperature by room sensors at night and living room / kitchen during the day.

Warning do not buy loved it at first, but started having problems with the thermostat about five months in contacted customer support and they told me to reset the thermostat that did not help. I have sent multiple emails and phone calls with messages to call back with no response. Absolute terrible product because of the customer service will not stand behind their product, I am buying another thermostat of a different brand now I even paid for a professional to come by and see what was wrong and it’s to do with the thermostat so if I were you please do not buy .
