The Ecobee thermostat allows us to use our smart phones to control the temperature in our house easily. No more getting out of bed, going downstairs, in the middle of the night to adjust the temperature. It allows for "scenes" so when I go to bed it sets the temperature lower and even when we leave the house it lowers the temp and raises it once we get within a set range. The only problem is when my husband and I don't leave together the temperature still drops if I'm not in a room with a sensor. Just have to get used to making sure when one of leaves we move in front of a sensor. Otherwise its great!

Works seamlessly with the app on the iPhone to monitor and make changes to the HVAC system. Easy to install even if you don't have wiring knowledge.

It was extremely easy to install & use. I love the weather feature that's set up w/ the voice control. And adjusts to your schedule fairly quickly.

I wanted to change out my outdated Thermostat. This Ecbee smart thermostat was easy to change out. Took me about 30 minutes (I'm in my late 40's and not very handy, yet I was able to install all by myself). It works great. Love that it changes temperature around my routine. It also can be linked to my electric company to save even more $ on heating.

Very easy to install by yourself and looks great once installed. The app is very easy to use and setting up different schedules was very simple.

I had one of these in my last house and it paid for itself in six months, after rebates. Easy to use and install.

Love the look and ease of use. Easy setup although I did have to call to get software update as the sensor did not pair. Working great after update!

Easy installation, especially if you have five wires present. I like that it has amazon Alexa built in. Added bonus is that one room sensor is included.

The ecobee thermostat is great! I recently moved into a new home, after having a nest thermostat in my previous home I knew I wanted another smart thermostat. I didn’t like how the Nest predicted our wanted temperature, it seemed like they forced it on us. Ecobee will let you change your schedule with a hold. It’s also an Alexa speaker and give you a sensor to put in another room to make sure it’s stays warm or cold.

I love how sleek and modern it looks! I didn't do the actual installation, but I don't think it was too complicated and it came with a frame to cover any unpainted areas that may have been left out due to an old theromostat being smaller than this ecobee. The wifi installation and app set up was quick and simple. I have mine connected with my Alexa app and it gives me no issues and works just like Alexa on any other device. The speaker is great for communicating, but not so much for music. Low volume and not the best sound quality, but other than that no complaints.

My Ecobee has been great so far. I've had it for about a month, maybe a bit longer, and I am satisfied with it. It was a fairly easy install, and the Ecobee app walks you through the entire process. It's a simple interface, and I like that I have the extra sensor to put upstairs to monitor the temperature both in the living room and my office. One cool thing I discovered is that the Ecobee and the extra sensor have motion detectors in it, which you can use to trigger other smart items like lights and switches.

We had a few bumps in the road getting it connected to the Wifi, but once done, it’s amazing! Controlling our temperature from our voice and the phone is almost too good to be true! If you wake up hot, grab the cell, open the app and drop the temp! Wanna know what it’s set for, ask Alexa! We get a monthly report via email about the % savings based off averages in our area, really nice to know. We have the sensors too, not sure how they work yet, but couldn’t be happier with the ecobee overall, we believe it’s worth the cost for sure.

Easy to use, you could control and play music on it with alex. Looks cool, easy to install yourself if you have somewhat of a brain.

I had a Nest (came with the house). Their temperature sensors were on separate, static schedules and could not be tied to the temp change schedules. It’s obviously their app/interface/features have lost attention since the acquisition. Also, they are deprecating Works with Nest, so who knows what will still work with it. Switched to Ecobee and haven’t looked back. Sensors and scheduling are much better. Interface is more modern. Works with HomeKit, which is great. Also, having Alexa in it has actually been more helpful than expected. Looking into smart vents next :)

Bought this thermostat to replace an old Magicstat thermostat for my house built in the 60s. I only had four wires without a common wire, this ecobee had the kit for those who do not have a common wire. I was able to install this in less than 1 hour. Instructions were very simple and easy to follow. Word of advice, look at your thermostat wires first as well as your furnace control board. Take a picture of them prior to installation. Get to know the colors of the wire and where they go.

Did a lot of research on the top contenders and this Ecobee appears to be one of the best available. Install was simple and directions provided were clear, even for a new homeowner like me. The app is frankly so-so but once you learn the interfaces, it is easy enough to see the various data from the thermostat as as well as the remote sensor. Great controls available, overall a great upgrade from the old thermostat. I particularly enjoy monitoring the heating activity, including stages so I can learn to manage the settings better.

Easy to install and works great! There were no issues in replacing my old thermostat and the Alexa setup was a breeze.

One of my best purchases.... ever. This ecobee was not only easy to install but is loaded with easy to use and money saving features. The built in Alexa makes it easy to both control heat economically and turn on lights as I enter a room. It is easy to access from phone or computer to monitor activity and has an excellent vacation mode. The additional heat sensor increases it sensitivity in those hard to reach places when your thermostat is not in the room... This is a definite 5 star piece of equipment.

We had one glitch, which I think we may have done by accident. Other than that, the thermostat works well and easy to control.

smart, simple and easy to install. alexa integration works ok.. but speaker quality is not great but overall very happy.
