I’m a tech guy. Love everything from cameras to laptops to building my own desktops. NEVER in my life have I owned such a crazy piece of technology like this ecovats deebot D10! My brother has an older deebot and raves about it, but this new one is crazy good. Some points about it 1. Instructions were easy to follow. There is one sheet that pretty much walks you through like 6 steps and it’s not a problem at all 2. I have not used the mopping feature yet so won’t comment on that, but pretty much you get some pads and a piece that converts the vacuum front to the mopping version. 3. The enclosed air freshener is unbelievable and I love it! Cucumber makes every room smell so fresh but not overpowering. 4. This thing is so smart. Initially it learns the house. Then when it cleans it learns it even better. If you keep a room closed it will skip it and go do other areas (say bathroom door is closed for instance). Then it recognizes that bathroom is still needing to be cleaned and will go back to check! 5.it is sooooooooo thorough. 6. It has a beautifully clear camera that you can enable and watch it clean. Also you can save clips and watch them later 7. Has a quiet mode besides the other two modes that’s great if someone is sleeping or something. 8. App ECOVACSHOME is easy to use and has so many features 9. The docking station with the automatic waste drop off os beautiful and sturdy/well designed 10. This is a smart robot that can also keep your home safe and act as a camera!

I upgraded from the ECOVACS T8+ to this model because it has newer features, better suction power etc. However for all the cameras and sensors it has, it manages to still get stuck in cables and in places. I hope with updates in the future it will be perform as described. My biggest issue with this vacuum is that ECOVACS released a product with no accessories available for it. I have had a little over a month now and my self emptying trash bin is full and I cannot find the bags anywhere… I reached out to their customer support and they blame it on COVID production constraints… which I think is non sense because of course for their more expensive robot vacuum that came out the same time as the 10+ they do have all the accessories available. It’s a great little robot, mopping is okay. It gets the job done. I have 2 labs and it keeps the hair off the floor for me, I just wish they planned the release of this robot better and have the accessories for it so I can maintain it. If you are looking to buy, I would say hold off for a bit until the accessories are available because if not you won’t be able to enjoy it as much.

If you have a mix of carpet & tile/wood in your home, be aware that you will have to 1) Have the base located on the hard floors 2) Put in the mopping unit when you want to mop 3) Remove the mopping unit if you want your carpets vacuumed The T10 isn't "smart" enough to know that when on carpet it shouldn't use any water and shouldn't do any mopping. Instead, it simply *can't* go on carpet w/ the mopping unit installed. This is a huge gap in functionality for a $1000 robot, in my opinion. It basically means for a full clean I need to run the bot twice, manually changing out the OZMO in between. Instead, I'll just mop on my own! Additionally, after mapping my house the app does not let me correctly label my floor types as wood, carpet, or tile. It lumps nearly the entire area into one, allowing only one option for the whole thing. I imagine this is woefully inadequate for most homes which have mixed flooring types, certainly mine. Mapping capabilities, however, are pretty impressive and the suction from the vacuum doesn't disappoint. The air-freshening feature is novel and surprisingly pleasant! The app, however, is clearly non-English in origin and has some quirks which require restarting it, particularly when customizing your home map. I like that I can customize the room names and boundaries, and that the "no go" virtual areas are definable as a straight line *or a box* - something my other robot vacuum doesn't yet allow. Virtual Home view is a bit misleading; you have to manually place all your furniture where you want it, the right size, etc. as the bot does not automatically populate this for you as they would have you believe. To troubleshoot my mopping and floor type issues, I contacted Customer Support via the chat on their website and they were *extremely* responsive. They answered my question about mopping from the base while it was on the carpet right away, and are still getting back to me regarding the map of my home and why I can't correctly choose the floor types throughout the rooms on the floor which the vacuum is located.

Having had this product now for a month. I really enjoy it. I do wish I would have went for the more upgraded model with the more industrial mop brushes as I have a dog and three small children and messes are abound. The mop pad included is a very simple one similar to that of the Swiffer. That is really my major criticism. I enjoy the mapping of the house and the automation with nest. If I ask it to clean a specific room, it will go straight to that room and clean only that room and come back to the charger. It helps especially after dinner time. Depending upon what your needs are, I think I would recommend the upgrade model. If you don't have young kids or pets. This model will be for you. I got it on sale for around 500 and would not pay more for it.

Its not just a cleaning robot, but more like a family. Keeps your house clean, it has self clean option which is amazing, you can even view camera and see whats happening in your house. Mopping and cleaning great options. Sometimes it gets stuck under the sofas and find it difficult to manuerover on the rugs. I feel the parts a lil expensive.

Awesome little robot. Vacuums very well, makes my life so much easier. The mopping function works well if you give your floors a good mop once before using this robot. It will maintain that level of cleanliness. If you don’t do this, it may have a hard time on more soiled floors. Would definitely recommend. Saves so much time, we’ll worth the price. Also, it’s really cool being able to to see live video and remote control the robot, even away from home!

I loved this little robot for about a year or so. Then it started having issues with finding its way back to the base. It frequently got stuck on the edges around my sliding glass doors but overall worked great besides that. I’m very disappointed that it stopped working in just a little bit over the year considering the price paid for it. I tried factory, resetting it and changing parts, but it’s still will not work.

The front facing camera helps with object avoidance but it doesn’t happen all the time. The Deebot will bump into furniture and figure out its way around it which isn’t a big issue. I do like that it can work in dim/low light; that way I don’t have to keep the lights on at night and wait for it to finish cleaning. I would really like for the roller brush to be rubber likthe Roborock and Roomba vacuums. I ran it on the second floor carpet and it caught all the hair but it was a bit tideous tryjng to clean it. The app is very user friendly. It would be nice to be able to use as many points as we want toward the products on the Ecovacs store through the app. Other than that I’m pretty happy with my purchase. Its features are what helped me decide to get it over the Roomba S9/J7+and the Roborock S7+!

Had this unit for a few weeks now and just love this vacuum. Suction is great, really quite, and love the video camera very clear and sharp. And it’s the first I owned that was self emptying and I like that a lot. Have not used the self mopping feature yet, have a puppy that I’m training and already mopping.

After having this for 3 weeks I can notice that it needs maintenance done so it can work better but it does pick up most things sometimes it will scatter messes so that sucks. But overall impressed for a robot vacuum I run it once in the morning and at night. You do need to buy maintenance items like dust bags and mop pad. Mopping wise it sucks lol it basically is just wetting the floor with water not impressed you need to put that elbow grease work for clean floors and the robot just doesn’t have that power.

We love this vacuum. The mapping is great, the options within the mapping are great. It does great at avoiding objects when things are left on the floor. The ability to schedule both vacuum and mopping is crucial even you have a busy life with kids and pets.

This is our first robot vacuum and mop and it's amazing. It transfers from hard floors to carpet with ease. I does an amazing job on all surfaces.

This "smart" robot isn't that smart. I bought this solely for the fact that it stated it had object avoidance as listed on the specifications. This is NOT true at all....whether set in smart cleaning or auto clean. The robot constantly hits the stone fireplace (one of many areas) even though I created a virtual boundary AND it is supposed to have the object avoidance. Yes, I have always had the AIVI enabled. Now, I am past the return period and the front has a lovely straight line scratch on the plastic covering the camera. It's also stated that it would avoid wires... again, not true. I've given this at least a month and a half to work as described and using it per directions. I am very disappointed and cannot return it. We also have pets, so I set the vacuum to empty every ten minutes to prevent any and it NEVER actually empties anything.... I have to remove the brush and dig in to remove the debris. Totally defeats the self-emptying feature as listed, and is not great for someone with allergies. The app for it is fine and the robot does clean in very methodical lines after going around the edges. We have hardwood floors throughout the house with some area rugs, so we bought this to keep the fur "tumbleweeds" down in between deep cleans. I feel like I could have bought a product that was way less money and got the same result.

This robot is work quite and nice We love it , it does nice job.

Superior cleaning ability. Use this to clean up cat litter debris from cat when exiting litter box. I love the camera on the front of this and room mapping.

The best machines, I have for almost 2 year and work very good, clean every space.

Vacuums great. Disconnect from the network quite often has a hard time with identifying objects.

Love this vacuum/mop. I run it almost every day just to keep up with all my pets' messes. Saves me a lot of time and headache.

Space: New 760 sq ft apartment, hardwood & carpet Dirt Challenge: 1 Bernese Dog, 1 human long hair, city filth & winter salt. The Bad: Bot struggled to pick up all the hair after two full cycles through apartment. Almost non noticeable on carpet. Dirt would be pushed against the wall requiring at minimum a sweeping after. Would walk around after vacuuming and socks would feel dirty. The good: AI and remote control of device. Loved that I could take control and see what my pup was doing while I was on the slopes. Long battery life two runs through apartment took only 30%. Bot never ran over anything or got stuck. Decision? Ended up returning. Did not meet my cleanliness needs.
