Really Great Robot
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are a lot of great things to say about this robot. If it was only a vacuum it would be fantastic. The fact that it can also do mopping just puts it over the edge. My wife is very particular about her vacuuming, a bit of OCD. Straight lines and being able to see that the vacuum has run is paramount in her "requirements" for vacuuming. We have had a couple other robots that did not meet her requirements. One ran in circles. The other did not prove that it ran by showing the carpet was vacuumed. The big plus, besides mopping, is that this robot maps the house and marks where it could not vacuum because of obstructions. You can set zones and use virtual walls and no go zones. After the first run or two, the map will allow you to set the virtual walls/boundaries. With the zones you set, you can do custom maps cleaning by zones and also create multi-floor maps. When the mopping attachment is installed, the robot will not go onto carpeted areas. There are add-ons according to the manual for deep cleaning with the mop attachment. There are disposable pads and a cloth pad that can be washed. It does a surprising job considering there really is no scrubbing without the deep cleaning attachment. This will not make up for a real mopping, but does enough on a day to day basis in the long run a deep cleaning can be further apart. Just depends on how picky you are with mopping. The vacuum surprised my wife. Before the first run my sister-in-law ran the big vac through the house before the robot arrived. I did a first test and it picked up a ton of what a human missed. Right now we have 4 kids and 3 dogs in the house, so plenty of vacuuming to be done. Surprisingly all the dogs have accepted Deebo and one of their own. At first there were barks and growls. Not after the first run. My wife approves. OCD and all. We ended up getting rid of all the previous robots we have owned over the years because she refused to use them. Now with Google Home, we can just say, "Hey Google. Run the vacuum." Or wait for noon and let it run on its own. There is a camera on the vacuum and a sensor on the top. I was very impressed with the mapping even in areas it did not enter or walls it had not reached due to furniture. The is a Video Butler in the app that I have not got to work yet. Not sure I would use it anyhow, but might have a use if I get it to work. I could go on, but it would delay you from hitting buy. You will not regret it. Seriously. Hit buy.

Love the improvements over my 930
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the Ozmo 930 for just over 2 years. I love the Ecovac, but it usually takes a recharge to finish my 1500 sqft house. It tends to get stuck under the dining room table, around toilets and the bump/transition from flooring to carpet. That said, I just love what Ecovac's has done with the T8 AIVI. Unboxing the unit, I see a slim down version of my 930. That makes it less likely to get stuck under my recliners. It comes with the base charger, the vacuum, manual, reusable and disposable cloths with plate, brushes and filter. I let the unit fully charge and then connected the T8 to the Android app (already installed on my phone). The unit operates very differently than my old Ecovac, that's a good thing. It outlines a room, sometimes cutting the room in half and then fills it in, like a child coloring. I love it because the old model didn't seem to vacuum the edges very well. It would hit and turn, back and forth down the hallway, where this one did along the baseboards and then went back and forth almost covering some areas twice. It had no problem finishing the house with one charge. I'm hoping that's improved battery life and not just my old one needed a new battery. That would mean the batteries only last a few years and then need a replacement. Also the T8 doesn't have any issues going over different threshold material. It climbs up onto my brick fireplace skirt as well as down to sheet vinyl and ceramic tile in my kitchen, entry and bathrooms. I paused the unit once and emptied the dust bin (it was full) and removed a dust bunny or two. The unit continued it's pattern with no problem after returning the dust bin and pressing the button on the unit. I tried the mop feature with just water as I don't have very large areas that need wet mopped. The feature works as it should with no complaints. If I had large areas of hard surfaces, I'd gladly use the feature, but the bulk of my home has carpet, so I prefer to keep the unit dry. So to sum it up, I love the new model and it's ability to operate the way I wanted the 930 to. The 930 fit perfectly in the new box and went into storage for a backup. I'd love to see Ecovacs update the firmware to operate more like the T8 if possible. If they do, I hope they email me so I can do the update on my backup vac! Lastly, I ask they don't update the T8 unless absolutely necessary. The update for the 930 is when my battery life dropped and the unit started to get stuck more than once during a cycle.

A clean house EVERYDAY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the Deebot osmo T8 AIVI (the one with the camera) First of all I LOVE this vaccum! But you must maintain reasonable expectations. This is NOT a replacent for our Dyson; so don't get rid of your self opperating vaccum. You need to clean really good first and then set the Deebot free to maintain cleanliness. I run this every day with few exceptions. I have had this vaccum for about 6 months and I am wildly happy...still. Here are some things to consider when mulling over a purchase of a vaccum that is more than rent was in the last appartment I lived in (granted that was 15 years ago, but still). When you get it home and it is mapping your house, if you are a control freak, DON'T watch it work. It moves in seemingly erratic ways with no set pattern. Don't worry, once it does its thing, it will have a set pattern, that still may not make sense to you. But I promise, it doesn't miss spots...generally. You need to keep in mind that this is technology, not magic. It will get confused, it will get lost and it will lose the map for a short period of time from time to time. You will need to make sure your area is picked up. Having said that, it has saved me time and a lot of physical effort AND it cleans every day...which I do not. So here are my pros and cons. I have a short hair dog and cat, no kids but littles frequent my house often. PRO: Set up was easy, but it took me a few times to get my phone to register it. I think that was an error on my part however. It gets under the furniture and the bed, some place that I didn't clean regularly. It has great sucction, better than I expected. It does a great job with pet hair and general everyday dirt. Like I mentioned earilier, I am continually surprised at what it pulls out of my carpets everyday. For the most part, it is hands off. I rarely have to do anything. But it is technology, not magic. I have to intervene at times. I have a mix of hardwood floors and area rugs and due to the house being older, some rather high thresholds. It is able to get over these just fine with the exception of one that it can traverse down, but not up. I have not seen how it would handle if it encountered a stair, so I don't know if it would effectivly recognize the drop and avoid it. It does perfer a lower pile rug, so I did end up getting rid of an area rug that it struggled with. That rug had a 1 inch pile, but was old and worn, which is why it was able to make it on to the rug in places for cleaning. Getting a new rug was on my mind anyway. I LOVE the camera feature. I use it to spy on my 10mo old puppy when he is home alone. I also use it to find him and call him to me when I am home. But I love that I can see the house when I'm on vacation. I LOVE that it mops! But it is a maintenance mop only. I put cleaner on the mopping PAD ONLY, for more cleaning. Don't expect it to get spots off your floor-it won't. In short, I don't regret the purchase of the vaccum. CONS: A piece of advice; GET THE SELF EMPTYING BIN! I didn't get the self emptying bin and I will be getting that soon! I figured that since I was not actually vaccuming, the least I could do was empty the bin. But I empty it every day, sometimes twice depending on if it hasn't run for a day or so. It is a pain. Because this runs everyday nearly, it needs to be cleaned and maintained regularly. I clean the vaccume brush and filter weekly. It is kinda gross. Parts will also need to be replaced more frequently, like the filter and side brushes, especially if you have carpet. Mine will not traverse over carpet if the mopping plate is on. Which is a good thing, but the site does seem to indicate that it will traverse over carpet while the mopping plate is installed, it will just not release water. Mine does not. It will avoid carpet in mopping mode, but becuase it will not go over the capet, mopping requires more hands on from me. I set up boundaries and some times physically move it around. I mop every few days, which is more than I would if I were actually doing the work. Love it! No regrets!

Strong suction, but nothing else truly noticeable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ECOVACS Robotics - DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI Robot Vacuum & Mop - Black gave me mixed emotions, because the vacuum suction works really great. I can increase the suction through the app, to pick up all dirt within its path. But other functions do not live up to their stated functions. The ECOVACS is supposed to operate for three hours, but after 30 to 45 minutes it returned to its charging dock, after charging overnight. The mopping function did not get up any serious dirt stuck on the floor, but it did lay down a steady flow of water while mopping. Purified water must be used, but instructions do not tell what type of cleaner to use. Installing the Ecovacs Home App gives complete operational control of the ECOVACS Robotics - DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI Robot Vacuum & Mop - Black. The app creates a map of the area being cleaned which can be monitored in real time on my phone. By using the app I can change mode, control smart recognition, water flow level, auto-boost, schedule cleaning, continuous cleaning, etc. The motor is powerful and increases in rpm when climbing over a rug or carpet. The app gives updated messages and notifications such as “obstacles are in the way.” The ECOVACS Robotics - DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI Robot Vacuum & Mop - Black is a great robotic vacuum, but not so great a robotic mop.

A great vacuum/mopping robot
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by noting that this is not my first robot cleaning device. We purchased a name-brand version years ago, and over time upgraded as newer versions from the same manufacturer came available. We also have a robot from a different manufacture. We use both robots in our home at the same time not because we must, but because it was taking so long for just one to clean all rooms. So, while the second robot cuts the total time by a third, the reduced time minimizes how long you have to listen to the two of them buzzing around the house. And they can be pretty darn loud. For comparison sake, I am going to refer to the name-brand product as Name-Brand (clever, huh?) and the up-and-coming product as TheNewGuy. Name-Brand: • The Name-Brand robot has always been a solid product, but pricewise has always been one of the most expensive on the market • Our version of Name-Brand does not support floor mapping, although I believe their newer models may • Name-Brand is fast and rarely ever hesitates when making course corrections • It has a good ability to back itself out when stuck • On a negative side, it has a small dust bin • Also a negative, it is quite loud • It has a good battery, although not good enough to cover our whole house without having to return to the docking station to recharge itself • If you want it to skip certain areas of your house, you must set up physical devices that create virtual walls to prevent the unit from entering those areas TheNewGuy: • We got this a year ago and use it in a smaller area • It a bit slower than the Name-Brand model and can be equally as noisy. • As a plus, it has a ‘gentle’ mode (I’m calling it that) in case you have items you don’t want the robot to heavy-handedly bump into • It has a fair ability to back itself out when stuck, although not as good as Name-Brand • It has a much, much larger dust bin than Name-Brand • As with Name-Brand, it will return to the charging station to recharge itself, then return where it left off when the charging is complete • This unit has the floor mapping feature. However, I regularly find it complaining that it cannot find the floor map forcing me to run it through a process to create a brand-new map. Once a new map is created, you can use its editing tools to virtually block off areas that you do not want to the unit to enter using no-go lines. When it works right, this is a handy feature. Okay, so that is a brief synopsis of our two existing robots. Now we have the Ecovacs Deebot T8. For me, this is my favorite one. It immediately distinguishes itself because it both vacuums and mops. This is our first mopping robot, so I cannot offer any comparison to other products on the market. The very first thing we noticed about the Ecovacs is how quiet it is. And I mean substantially quieter by a wide margin. It has a number of power levels that you can assign to it, from Quiet (they recommend this for mopping), Standard, Max and Max+. I found that Standard works quite well for us. Our house is comprised of wood floors, tile, and carpet. Using the Standard power setting, it vacuumed virtually the whole house without having to return to the charger to recharge. We have a small percentage of our house blocked off for the other (TheNewGuy) to clean, thus the reason I could not claim that it did the whole house. That is better than simply good! The Name-Brand and TheNewGuy both had to return to their respective chargers when they were assigned to do our whole house. Our house has a good number of obstacles throughout, including cabinets, tables, beds, different carpet types, and figurines. To the T8’s credit, it never got stuck once. Once the T8 finishes its very first run, doing so results in a new floor map. The T8 has a floor map editing tool that allow you to virtually identify areas that you want the unit to avoid (or no-go areas). One set of no-go tools are used for when the unit is vacuuming; a different tool for when you are using it for mopping. And this is cool: it vacuums and mops at the same time. So why block off areas using the virtual tools? Let us say that you have an expensive figurine on the floor or sitting on a pedestal that you do not want the T8 to bump into. Or, there is an area in the house where the T8 always seems to get stuck, you can use the no-go tool to block off those areas. I like T8’s implementation for virtual walling off objects and in that it is easy to use. For mopping, the T8 lets you virtually block off areas of floor you want to be skipped. For mopping, it automatically ignores carpeted areas. We were genuinely concerned about getting our wood floors wet, so I created virtual walls using the map editing tool to ensure that they would be skipped during a mopping session. However, I removed those walls and decided to monitor the mopping action up close. Among other things, the T8 gives you the ability to determine how much water is dispensed to the floor, and it does this with Low, Medium, High and Ultra High settings. We first tried it on Low, but then bumped it up to Medium. The water evaporated quickly on our wood floors, so we are going to bump it up to High to see if that’s too much the next time we use it. According to the literature, the T8 can run for three hours and clean a 3,000 sq/ft area. That is exceptionally good battery life and thus far, has proven to be true in our house. One cool thing I found when using the floor mapping tool is that when it creates a new map, it labels your floors as “A”, “B”, and so on. The tool also allows you to give each labeled floor area an actual name. Thus, “A” could be called Family Room. “B” could be called Hallway. For homes with multiple floors, it will create a separate floor plan for each floor. The T8 is as fast or faster than our two other robots even when it is concurrently mopping and vacuuming. The T8 also has a scheduling program that permits you to schedule which days you want it to run and at which time. I think this next feature is also cool. With the T8, you can identify the order in which it vacuums or mops the floor. So, I can have it start on the part of the house that is furthest from the docking station or to jump around as necessary. The T8 has a feature that as far as I can tell is different from other products on the market. It essentially has a built-in camera on the front of the unit, and you can remotely attach to the T8 when away from home and drive it around your house. Seems silly but presume you are on a trip and you can’t remember if you closed the door leading to your garage. Not a problem – assuming that it is on the same floor as where the T8 is docked. The tools to drive it are rudimentary, but they get the job done. The T8 is also Alexa and Google Home compatible. Lastly, while the water reservoir and dust bin are on the small size, our testing suggest that they are perfectly suited to this unit. The dust bin held a significant amount of dust and particles, while the water reservoir always had water left over after completing a mopping cycle. While we have not had this unit long, we are very impressed with its design and construction. It is easily the best robot we have ever owned.

Robot Mopping & Vacuuming!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't tell you how long I have been waiting for a reliable robot to come and vacuum and MOP my house. We have had multiple other brand vacuums for years that we can't live without - but I have been dreaming that they would also mop my floors. The Ecovacs Deebot has made my dreams come true! First off, it was very easy to assemble. The only thing that you have to install is the brushes and the app on your phone. Very easy! The Debot does a fantastic job vacuuming my home. I have two other name robot vacuums that range in the $500-$800 price range that I rely on every day to clean my home. I think they do a great job - but the deebot seems to do a great job as well - but more systematically. The other brand goes around my house is random patterns - so I really can't tell what has been vacuumed. The deebot has a more controlled and systematic way of vacuuming. I feel like it doesn't leave areas whereas the other brand may. I have used the mopping function once so far and it was great. It avoided any carpeted areas and did not get them wet. It provided a gentle mopping to my tiled floors and left them feeling cleaner. It doesn't have a scrubbing feature for down and dirty areas - so you still have to clean areas like that - but this will definitely leave your house cleaner. The price is similar to what I paid for just a vacuum - so the mopping feature is a bonus for me!

Great Balance of Features - Glad We Got It
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ECOVACS Robotics - DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI Robot Vacuum & Mop is a significant improvement in smart robot vacuums. In the past, I've found that those trying to be 'smart' - mapping, video detection, etc. - were so finicky they were practically useless. So we've enjoyed our 2 'bump-n-go' models because they just work. However, the Deebot OZMO seems to be a good balance. It has smart features and mapping tech, but it keeps running and rarely gives unneeded error messages. The vacuum was also more powerful at picking up and has a slightly lower form factor than our previous ones. All very good. As for the mopping feature, it's usefulness is probably going to depend on how much mopping surface you have and whether or not it's in a single large space or separated into different zones. The OZMO won't switch between vacuum and mop modes automatically, you have to attach the pad and add water and then take it to the mopping area. Once there it does a good job. So, the convenience of this feature depends on your specific layout and needs. In our case, we have a small kitchen and very small dining area and it's probably easier to grab a quick light-duty mop than to set up the OZMO. But, as long-time users of robot vacuums, this is a significant upgrade to our previous models and a much-improved balance of smart features and simple reliability. We are Very Glad we Got this! (the only reason I didn't give 5 starts is because each mode has to be done separately).

So close but needs refinement.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had robotic vacuums for years and they have come a long way from the days of 60-minute batteries and dumb meandering around as a means or for mapping an area. On paper, the ECOVACS Robotics - DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI Robot Vacuum & Mop has everything - the most advanced optical and laser navigation, obstacle avoidance, video security ( called “video butler”, verbal status from unit, long battery life, powerful vacuuming and floor mopping. Sounds like Ecovac has the Neato and iRobot beat. Well, not quite. I currently own two late model Neato units so I have a good reference point. I’ve been using the OZMO T8 for over a week. Let’s look at the pros and cons to get an idea where is ends up. Pros – Setup is easy. Download the software, create an account and scan the QR code. Great attention to details. Ecovacs pays attention to the little things that show a lot of thought. Here are a few: There is a hinge and lock for the filter to the debris canister. The canister has a handle as well as mechanism that keeps a flap closed on the air inlet to prevent debris from falling out when you remove it from the machine. Cleaning tool on board for cleaning hair out of the roller and brushing out dirt. QR code on machine for easy set up. Corner brushes are angled downward, so they stay in contact with floor. Easily removed brush roller, requires no tools. Battery life is fantastic. Unbelievably quiet. Much quieter than both Neato units I am currently using. It is so quiet I had to check to see if the rollers were working. Virtual boundaries and areas to clean/mop are robust. If you can find out how to do it ( more on that.) Cons Never could get it to connect to Google Home. If you do a search, you will see many people running into the same issue. App could be more refined. Not intuitive. Have to look for battery indicator and it does not tell you how much the charge is. Default settings are not set to maximum power. Get false “ clean drop sensors for no reason” Has trouble with dark on lighter floor sections. Avoids them like an obstacle. Brush is nearly half the size of the wedge design units . Brush is too soft. I question how much it agitates the floor to get the dirt out. Difficult to how to set no go zones/virtual boundaries. I could not find how to set it and it is not in the instructions. For some reason, the map management feature is not there for this version. It should not have been that hard. Mop does not allow for cleaning solution. The video cam function goes in and out. Let’s talk about the bottom line. How does it clean? I give it a 7 out of 10. By comparison, the Neato D7 is a 10. On paper, the OZMO T8 should have it beat in terms of raw power. But it does not. It is not that the OZMO T8 does not clean well, it does . Where it falls short is the round design. The wedge design units allow for a much larger, more robust brush roller. The larger brush roller covers a much larger area in one pass and agitates the carpet better. Agitation means better cleaning and the OZMO seems to fall short there. This is not a matter of opinion that larger brush does a better job, I did an actual head to head test. I did not vacuum for 5 days . Both vacuums had completely empty bins and both were set to max cleaning. First, I let the OZMO T8 run through the house and saw how much dirt it collected. I immediately followed it with the Neato D7. To my surprise, the Neato picked up just as much dirt immediately following the cleaning by the OZMO T8. You would think there would be a significant difference. Now, one run is not the end all of a test so I ran both vacuums the next day under the same conditions. Oddly, the OZMO T8 picked up more than the first run but once again, the Neato D7 picked nearly the same. With that in mind, I can concluded that the Neato D7 wedge design just does a better job . It’s hard to recommend the OZMO T8 when there are better options out there at less of a price. If Ozmo gets the price under $500 and work out some of the software bugs , they will have a home run. But for now, I would pass on this at the $800 price point. It’s a shame , there are so many great things with the OZMO T8 that a could software tweaks could really make the difference,

Nice automatic Vaccum
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup Let me say first up I really like the voice for the setup and device. It made setting up the device much easier with feedback, instead of looking at blinking lights and wondering. Taking it out of the box it was easy to get it out and get it charging. Like the fact they give spare brushes and for the camera they have a cover so if you don't want your vacuum camera to look around, then they got you covered which is a nice addition for people who don't want camera's everywhere in their house. The app paring was fine, it walks you through it, and while it took me a few times, I put that down more to Android 9, since I have to do the same thing just about with my phone when I pair one of these devices. However it isn't hard to deal with, the app even tells you, you need to connect directly to it. Once setup you were ready to go. Cleaning Does a great job vacuuming. I don't have any issues and it will even map out the room/route it did, which you can setup virtual boundaries, which worked for me, but nicer it pointed out in the room problem areas to let you fix, like cords, shoes etc and let it reclean. I also like that it doesn't run until the battery is done, it knows if it vacuumed the room and heads back when it is done. The mopping piece is nice additional to give the floors a once over. It won't give a deep clean but just for a quick mop and picking up the dirt it did a great job for that and didn't soak the floor. It has a bunch of great additional features in the app from virtual boundaries and other advanced features. I used the virtual boundaries, but haven't dug into some of the other deeper settings. It has a camera for checking on pets etc., but I haven't tested it as I have been having Internet issues, but it hasn't stopped the vacuum from getting it's clean on. TLDR If you are looking for a vacuum that can do a light mop this is a good vacuum. It does a great job at cleaning to keep the dust away.

The vacuum from heaven
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Robot vacuum cleaner was always some weird foreign concept to me, I had been to friends houses and family members houses and not always impressed. but looking at the price tag for this I said I got to know what this does. I get it home and it definitely does and lives up to the name. I have a condo that is half tile half carpet. I ran this thing the first night while I was sleeping it is super loud, but I said it that way it can be quiet apparently, I wake up the next morning and I swear professional carpet cleaners had come in here while I was sleep. Count on me buying more of these when my house expands.

Very efficient hybrid
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The vacuum is in front, mop is in back, you control the flow if the water with the app. Very efficient machine. Easy to set up and easy to clean. Package even included spare parts which is nice. Only problem I have is that it didn't come with a remote to start it or manually control it to spot clean. You can turn it on with Google Assistant or alexa, but the spot cleaning becomes more complicated than its worth. I may as well clean the spot myself or mop the whole floor altogether. Also, you're not allowed to put cleaning solution in the reservoir, Only Water. How does it clean without cleaning solution? It's smarter than other vacuums and it mops, which most other robot vacuums don't do so at least there is a plus there.

The first few months with it were great. The robot mapped my floorplan real easily saved the map well and kept to it's schedule for months. It was great having this robot go and clean all the spots I couldn't reach. Reason for the 2 star review is this thing has become a nightmare. I am a Network Engineer I work with technology every day. I've never had a device have such a bad update that ruined the experience as bad as this unit. For the past 2 weeks it kept missing schedules or just going to the wrong area. I open the app and realize the unit decided to redraw the zones on my map and flat out made part of my zones unselectable. Ok I follow supports suggestion have it remap the house. A month goes by it's fine then it does it again. Supports answer clear the map and let it redraw the map again. This is a 3 hour process and I have to make sure nooone in the house shuts their doors during the process. So I reluctantly do it again last week. Twice this week the unit freaks out and goes to the wrong zone in my schedule. I open the app and the unit again decided a part of the house doesn't exist anymore and redoes the zones. I wish I waited for the Roborocks S6 MaxV instead. Suppoort on this unit has been terrible and their answer to me again is reset the map and let it redraw it. I can't do this 3 times a week. I literally spend more time administering this unit then I do a server farms that are designed to keep thousands of people working.

slippery malfunctioning unit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect performance, was so happy with my purchase but as time went by mopping twice a week, dirt accumulation on the floor was evident. I clean all the brushes, empty the bin, but dirt still accumulates, even it turns off even with full charge and then starts running with difficulty.I am returning it for another one, hoping is not a lemon. Will give it a second chance.

Horrible mapping
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mapping get messed up frequently, forcing me to remap. Cannot find docking station when the task completes after latest firmware update. We have the auto vacuum dock but it frequently does not empty. Does not detect when dust bin is full.

Ok Vacuum but very poor App. Not worth the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a good vacuum and cleans good but its not worth $750. What good is an AI if the application is buggy and has tons of issues. A high end bot like this should have a bug free and user friendly App. I had no issues with its cleaning ability but the app was a joke. Its AI is anything but AI. Kept bumping into every single obstacles. I returned it and bought a $350 Ozmo T5 instead. My floor map was much more accurate in T5. For that price, I can live with this App and Cleaning abilities. No issues with cleaning so far of T5. For $750, this is not worth it. There are cheaper option from this same brand and does the same thing without any buyers remorse.

DO NOT BUY ECOVACS - BUYER BEWARE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy Ecovacs, they will not stand behind their product. Bought an Ecovac in May of 2020. It broke (the wheels stopped moving) in December of 2020. I got a replacement in February 2021 and that one broke in September 2021. They refuse to replace the replacement Ecovac Deebot. Shouldn't a replacement reset the warranty period? I think if your product is so bad that it breaks in 7 months, you should warranty the replacement for another year.

Broken after a year
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the robot for a year and 1 month. It’s out of warranty by the one month. It’s stopped working and they think battery needs to be replaced at my cost. Constant issues with app and map resetting as well.
