Less than 2 days after receiving the Deebot, it breaks during mopping, complaining of a DTof sensor malfunction. It’s completely stuck and won’t clean at all or even return to the charging dock. Ecovacs customer support can’t resolve the issue and I have to send it back for repair. I expect more from a $1500 purchase.

It's too expensive it's not taking out the trash to the back also when it's need to recharge it's forgot where he holds before and it starts again it's good for a small place I recommend it1

The Deebot X1 OMNI is the current flagship robot vacuum from Ecovacs. Intended to be an all-in-one solution that vacuums and mops, with the added convenience of hand-free maintenance, it mostly delivers. The OMNI base station arrives assembled. To set it up, simply remove it from the box, remove the bits of packaging, and plug it in with the included 6ft power cord. Inside the base station, there are 2 water storage tanks (1 for clean water and 1 for waste water), the dust collection system, and various bits like a cleaning brush and extra mopping pads. Overall, the base station is mammoth. It has a foot print of 16” x 18”, but then stands a full 23” tall. There is no hiding this thing. The water storage tanks hold a smidge over 1 gal each and have a quality feel to them. The dust collection system utilizes proprietary bags rather than a dust bin. Continuing the setup, the Deebot itself requires a little more setup. Remove the various bits of packaging from the bot, snap its color-coded side brushes into place, mount the mop heads (if you plan to use them at this time) then set it to charge in the base. The bot is 13.5” in diameter and stands 4” tall. The main power switch, a reset button, and the on-board dust bin are hidden beneath a removable, magnetically mounted lid on top of the bot. With the app installed and using the default settings, vacuum effectiveness on the various flooring types, including hardwood and short pile area rugs, was satisfactory, picking up everything from spilled flour to copious amounts of dog hair. Mopping effectiveness was more of a mixed bag: We have an engineered floor with an uneven surface. When the bot traveled the length of the boards, it made good contact and cleaned well. But when it traveled across boards, it tended to only contact the high spots. Scheduled tasks ran reliably and overall operation was quiet and did not disturb us despite the bot working right outside our first floor master bedroom. Also, compared to our previous Ozmo T5, thanks to its robust sensor array, the X1 bumps into objects far less. A few other thoughts and opinions: - Despite the large size of the OMNI base station, there is no place to stow things like the mop heads when not in use or even just the multi-function cleaning tool. - I still have to service the bot after each cleaning, despite its supposed hands-free nature. I have 2 Golden Retrievers and hair wraps around both the leading universal wheel and the main brush. - The AUTO mode/power button on the front of the bot is not actually a physical button but rather a touch sensor. Because of this, several times the robot has started cleaning unexpectedly because a curious dog sniffed the bot in just the right spot. It does not have a child like, like the OMNI base does. - I really, really, really don’t like that the dust collection system requires bags. I haven’t had to buy vacuum bags in over 10-15 years. This just seems like a step backwards. - I don’t need another voice assistant (Yiko) listening to my conversations. I disabled this right out of the gate.

I was really looking forward to this ECOVAC robotic vacuum/mop. I’ve had multiple robotic vacuums, and mops over the years. When I saw this combo I thought this was I finally it, I didn’t have to choose between one or the other. And that May be the case for others, but not for me due to the kind of flooring I have. Out of the box I will say it is pretty heavy, but it comes with two huge tanks so that is to be expected. One tank is for clean water, the other for dirty water after mopping. Also included “under the hood” is a brush and extra mop pads right in between the tanks which I felt was a great use of space. Setup from unboxing to pre usage was about 30 minutes. You will have to charge the vacuum for at least 6.5 hours before using it. That is quite a bit of time, but once again that is to be expected. Although it is large and takes up quite a bit of space, is very visually appealing and would fit well in any room. It vacuums my floor like no other robotic vacuum. It is very interactive and vocal. Letting you know what it’s doing, what room, and you can also just say “Ok, Yiko” and give it directions. My house is a smart house that runs on google, and being able to use features like that is a must for me. Now, the downside which was the biggest for me. In the instructions it tells you to not remove the removable moping pads to often, which I found to be a bit of a contradiction. Although they are self cleaning I would think one would want to maybe throw them in the wash occasionally. Another downside that goes to that is of course you cannot use the mop, and vacuum at the same time. I have hardwood in my kitchen and hallways, but carpet in the living room. I wanted to be able to have the technology where it can sense the difference (and this vacuum does. If it is moping and senses carpet it will stop), but be able to switch between modes without having to take the moping pads off. Maybe that is an upgrade for another year model. It was a huge downer for me because they say not to change the moping pads too frequently so you don’t mess up the sensors, but with the flooring in my house I have to essentially choose between the mop and the vacuum. I ultimately have chosen to use the vacuum setting because it is flawless, but really still bummed that I have to choose.

A+ vacume and does really wellwith dog hair, A on mopping, which is significantly better than me! I admit, it fun to use! The docking station is A++. Very well thought out. I give it all of its instructions via the app. The apphas a learning curve and really needs a good manual. You can anything you want, IF you can figure it out! Very happy with the results.

This is my third Ecovacs vacuum and it has not disappointed. The auto empty and mopping functions are great.

I have had a few different ECOVACS models over the years including ones that just vacuum and ones which include mopping and I definitely prefer the 2-in-1 style. It gives us the flexibility to schedule regular vacuuming and also add the mopping attachment/pads for deeper cleaning. The addition of the auto-empty is great as we can go weeks/months without having to worry about a full bin! The newest addition of the wash/dry and refill for the mopping attachment seriously changes the cleaning process. Whereas before I would focus on regular vacuuming (schedules) but have to manually add the mopping attachment, mop pad and ensure water was added... this takes all of that and automates it! Clean, glistening floors with minimal effort! Overall ECOVACS has superior app technology compared to many other options... I love the ability to add specific rooms/zones (both for vacuum area and mopping area) and I love that I can view the app real time while cleaning to see the areas which have/haven't been cleaned (vs waiting to the end or not knowing what has already been done. I would highly recommend!

Love that I don’t need to ask the kids to help sweep and mop. This is really a big help for a busy house. I didn’t wanted to spend this much on a robot but seeing the work it does I hope it lasts for quite a few years. One thing I wish it does is get on the rug but I guess it’s not let for sweeping a rug.

There is a Deebot for every household need. Whether you have kids, pets, or a busy lifestyle. My favorite so far is Deebot X1 Omni Robot Vacuum and Mop. My favorite feature is that unlike other vacuums, there is minimal noise, so you won’t even notice that it is on. Also, it has a big bin for debris storage, and the auto-empty station is very convenient. the suction power and battery durability are great. I would definitely recommend it, a must have in every home!

The best robot vaccum I’ve owned! Nothing compares to the amazing suction power and convenience. Connected to my wifi super easily! I’ll never buy another!

The Deebot x1 is the all-in-one solution to busy families on the go! I love my x1 because it is completely self sufficient, doesn’t require any maintenance, and cleans up after itself. The mopping feature ensures sparkling floors with zero debris left behind. It’s one of the few vacuums that is powerful, yet quiet. I can schedule daily cleans once and never have to worry about it again. I come home to a clean house despite kids and animals. I highly recommend to anyone!

This robot vacuum works better than the 2 previous ones I have owned. My wife has a very sensitive allergic reaction to dust and has not had any issues since our floors have been kept so clean by this robot. The previous vacuums would knock leaves or dirt from our plants by bumping into them, this vacuum can see obstacles and avoid touching them. It hasn't locked itself in the bathroom once by closing the door... it is pricey, but worth it.

What does a fantastic job of vacuuming even when you have pets like my German Shepherd that leaves hair everywhere. Nice thing about it to me is that you don’t mean sensors to be able to block off areas like other vacuums. The app is super easy to use and allows you to map areas if you don’t want to vacuum going. The only thing I would recommend is getting an extended warranty just in case . Also, It’s quiet and doesn’t bump into everything in its way.

I have three different types of robot vacuums this one is by far my favorite. It covers my entire beach house and keeps our floors sand free and shiny.

Deebot products never failed to impress me. Owned a N7 model prior and still working great to clean my room everyday. The X1 is a whole new level with auto empty and refill. The mapping is the best comparing to any other vacuum bots I had before and the object recognition is excellent so there are very few bumping into furniture or objects during the cleaning. I'd recommended ECOVACS to my family and friends

Another Deebot great vac! It learns your home and is smarter than past robot vacs I have had. Older vacs would get stuck around certain furniture, but mine always finds it way out and back to its dock! I love the auto empty feature so I don't have to worry about it for a long time between empties.

This bot can sweep and mop your floors, empty its own dustbin, refill its mopping reservoir, and clean and dry its mop. More than that it uses voice control!! I can actually make it change modes and scheduling by using my voice!! It has AI powered object avoidance and does a great job making sure what needs to be mopped is mopped and the carpets are just vacuumed! Here's something that is wild too: it can be a security cam for your home with two way audio. Don't get me wrong, it's mostly for mopping and vacuuming, but this is still a very cool feature I have used. My only concern is the size of the auto refill and empty station. It is large, but I guess to be hands free this space is needed to empty and refill. All in all it's the best bot on the market and will pay for itself in a year!!
