It's an alright product.
Setup was fairly straightforward. I just had to download an app, scan the QR code on the vacuum, and then it was connected. Assembling the docking station was also easy. The amount of plastic wrap on it was kind of annoying; I had to open up the vacuum and the docking station to peel away at plastic inside.
Once I got past setup though, I had some minor problems. I would turn on the auto clean function and it would start cleaning and mapping at the same time. Instead of mapping out the floor, however, it would clean for a little bit and then go back to the station, saying that the mapping failed. I then realized that there was a separate mapping function. After I ran one session of that, the entire floor was mapped. I think this could've been streamlined to allow it to map while cleaning.
It does often get stuck in places it shouldn't. I have a couch and a small coffee table next to it. Every time it goes there, it always turns to the table, then to the couch, then turns 270 degrees back to the table. I have to physically move it past the couch.
I think there should also be a remote control feature. I don't like how it has to clean an entire room; I'd rather also have the option to physically clean.
Overall, it's an alright vacuum but has a lot of small problems, especially for the price.

I have owned several robot mop-vacs, one from a popular brand - let's say 'S' brand - and two from Ecovacs. This brand is the one I prefer! The first Ecovacs unit I tried was one of the higher-end model, a Deebot. It had a ton of great features, really kept my floors noticeably clean compared to the 'S' brand and it was beautiful to look at! However, I had a studio apartment at the time and the docking unit seemed to take up a lot of floor space. I could store a stick-vac (an 'S' brand model that I do love) in a closet in comparison, so I parted with the unit. I missed not having to make time to sweep / vacuum / mop though, so I tried a smaller robot style mop-vac by 'S' brand, but I was still always having to sweep up after it missed spots and corners! What I love about this model from Ecovacs is the smaller footprint, that it mops with HOT WATER, and it empties itself into a little reservoir inside the docking station. While no robot is ever going to mop as well as doing it manually the old-school way, I program mine to go around the house twice a day and I swear, my floors stay clean. It's the bomb and totally worth the price! The solution smells nice too, I mix a little bit of bleach in for added sanitizer since I own pets. Although I'd buy a different kind of solution going forward that costs less and has more in the bottle. In short, this in my opinion, is the best robot mop-vac brand on the market, and I highly recommend it.
