At the time I purchased this, these were the latest tech--there's now a wi-fi 6e standard that can move data over a wireless network almost as fast as a wired local area network. However, this mesh setup is going to meet the needs of 99.9% of users and would be a massive improvement over "built-in" routers that come with/or you rent from cable or fiber internet providers. Highly recommend!

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The eero mesh, in and of itself is great, but be warned, ( because NOWHERE does it warn you that it WILL NOT WORK if you have multiple older computers that are wired, not wireless. ) you can can only connect one wired device, unless you spend more money and also buy an unmanaged switch and extra cable, that was the only way I could figure out how to make it work, and that was thanks to the Best Buy rep's suggestion when i went back. Wound up costing more than the Black Friday discount and more than I thought I would need to spend. My suggestion is be sure to ask if you use wired devices, whether due to age, or for added security

Posted .Hello, KevinC. I am sorry you are experiencing issues connecting your device to your Eero 6 Wi-Fi system. It could be that the MyQ system is trying to connect to a channel that it is not able to work on. I recommend opening the Eero app and clicking on settings on the bottom right of the screen, selecting troubleshooting, and clicking My device won't connect. Choose the first option (My device is 2.4 GHz only) and select at the bottom Temporarily pause 5Ghz. Once you have completed this attempt to connect the MyQ Garage door opener. I surely hope this helps with your setup but if it doesn't, please reach out to Eero customer support. They are available Monday–Sunday 6:00 am – 8:00 pm PT. You can reach them at 877-659-2347. It worked for almost 2 months and then just quit and you have to spend $100 for a year to be able to turn off ad blocker.

I have xfinity internet and pay for the fastest (1200 mbps) service but have never gotten even close to that. My devices are constantly "searching" for signal. I do live in the country ( but have wired internet). Not impressed with this. Not sure if any of the other brands would work better.

The 2-pack Wi-Fi 6 system you have offers speeds up to 500 Mbps so that would be the reason why you aren't seeing speeds of up to 1200 mbps. Rest assured, there are other options with eero that will support your internet speed you are looking for. The eero 6+ and eero pro 6 offer up to 1000 mbps, eero pro 6E offers up to 2300 mbps and the eero Max 7 supports up to 9400 mbps. Depending on the size of your home and the amount of devices you have, you may want to consider a 3 pack. If this information does not help, you can reach eero Customer service 24/7 for assistance. Easy to install, works flawlessly in my 1100 square foot ranch. I had a LinkSys smart router the past few years and it worked okay, but there were some dead spots even in my small brick ranch home. This solved those issues immediately. I get 500 mb/sec speeds consistently throughout my home and even out into the yard (1/2 acre lot). Def a good buy!! Love BestBuy and all their products / services!
