I had to go on reddit to figure it out. (Turn wifi off on your phone first). I'm pulling as advertised speeds for downloads and uploads, but I find that viewing 4k video on Plex is no longer possible. I had no issues when running two cloned last gen AirPort Extremes. Range is excellent, I will say that. I waited too long to return this purchase, but I'll sell them and get something that works for what I need.

But I had to hardwire the first link because I have an old house. It took hours to drill through two floors Figure out where I could hide the wiring. Devices have to be plugged in electric even if you’re going wireless, which can make it very difficult to place them in the exact position they are needed, particularly in an old house. I’m guessing you could buy longer cabling to a wall outlet. Though my service is 100 100 Mb per second, I’m getting independent readings of about 400 and some places. So I’m impressed.

Cameras still aren't getting a good signal.

Strategically placing your eeros is the single most important step you can take to ensure your system provides fast, reliable WiFi to every room in your home. Here are some tips to follow: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. It is advised to place an eero in a room/area closest to the outside devices that you're trying to connect. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

Plenty of meetings were having dropped calls and loading times was a drag. Since having this theres been zero dropped calls and even helps with our Christmas decor and outdoor cameras!
