Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Eero worked fine for the first 3 months, but then the problems began — constant dropped connections and unreliable service. I reached out to support multiple times. We tried everything, and I made it clear the unit was faulty and needed to be replaced. Instead, I was repeatedly given the runaround, and they kept constantly telling me just reset it. Thats how you solve a constant ongoing problem? I’m a real estate broker and my wife is a Dean — this ongoing issue disrupted both our work and caused serious inconvenience. After nearly two weeks with no internet, I removed the Eero system entirely and switched to a competitor.

Posted .Hi MartinY. Thank you for your feedback on the eero 6+ system. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve repeatedly had to reset your system. Swapping your gateway eero (the one connected to your modem) with the other eero on your network can help determine if the issue is network wide or isolated to a specific node. To perform the gateway eero swap, please follow these steps: Determine which eero in your network you would like to swap with the current gateway. Unplug the modem from power. Remove power from the secondary eero that is not connected to the modem. Unplug the current gateway eero from power. Plug the modem into power and wait for it to come online. Connect the replacement gateway to the Modem via ethernet cable. Connect the replacement gateway to power. Connect the original gateway eero to power in the replacement gateway’s previous location. Allow both eeros to boot up and come online. It may take up to 10 minutes for your eero network to come back online as your network assigns the new gateway. If your network goes down again, note which eero(s) went offline and reach out to customer service so that they can further troubleshoot. They can be reached at (877) 659-2347. I hope this helps. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The EERO mesh system appears to have issues of having devices connected to it via wifi, drop connections. The devices and/or the EERO needs to then be re-booted. In looking on line, it looks like this is a problem indeed that a number of customers have. And the suggested solutions from various folks on line, including a number of the EERO support personnel, confirm that indeed this is an issue. I am not currently sure I will keep the EEROs, unless their performance improves. Unfortunately the Geek squad recommended these during a visit to my home, and did not seem to be aware of the issues that folks were having with them. That is just not good
