I was able to keep my new Wi-Fi flood light/camera even though we live in the 3rd floor (as well as our modem/router) of our building, thanks to the eero extender. Otherwise I thought we would have to go with a hardwired security camera/lighting alternative. Super easy to install & well made!

At a minimum go with Wifi 6, wifi 7 has been built for future expansions but 6 will be fine. Dont forget, when you plug these in you'll create a new SSID. So whatever you have now, they'll be a second one.

If you don't need any advanced setups, this is definitely for you. Port forwarding is something very difficult to manage though. It's also a bit annoying when devices connect to a system device further away. For basic setups, it's great.

Posted .Hi HenryN. Thank you for providing feedback about your experience with the eero 6+ system. If you see that a device isn’t connected to the closest eero, don’t worry as it may still have an excellent connection. However, if you’re seeing weaker connections when there is a closer eero, you can toggle wifi off and back on for the device to connect to a closer eero. It should automatically connect to the best eero. These decisions are ultimately made by the device. However, we are continuing to put in the work on our end to make sure eero can do whatever possible to make these experiences more seamless. If these steps do not help, or if you need additional assistance, call eero customer service at 877-659-2347. They are available Monday–Sunday 6:00 am – 8:00 pm PT. They are much better than the ones I had before. They’re faster. Easier to use. Like how the display your different features on the app. Very happy with the 6+ Eeros.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found that this item specially for the price range works rather quite well it had good range as far as distance for Wi-Fi pick up and had no problems with the install and went really smooth and appreciate the advice that I got from one of the geek squad guys that was walking in the building at the same time I was and I had talked to him and he gave me some great information and help me when I was in the store so appreciate it and ended up being a good product for me

It was easy, set up, included all cables, and immediately connected to my spectrum modem. I will consider getting more to increase areas around my house, but again this Wi-Fi extended took over and extends better than the standard one from spectrum

Eero 6+ Mesh Wi Fi - Great Product

Works much better than the router provided by my internet provider that was dropping signals frequently. Speeds are consistently fast and setup was easy as well. I really like having the extra pod to expand the coverage throughout the house.

Easy to backhaul with Ethernet to a wired location or use wireless connection. I am getting the full 600mbps that I pay for via Wifi if I'm near a wired repeater. I put the 3rd unit in my shop which is 75 feet and 4 walls away from away unit, still get 100mbps in the shop. Just buy this thing. It's worth twice what I paid.
