Best router I’ve ever had...bar none

It’s a great buy you can’t go wrong with this product. I’ve had several routers of the years and this one is the best of the best by far !

MY HOUSE IS COVERED WITH WIFI WITH NO ISSUES OR LAG. SPEED IS EXCELLENT. IT BLOWS THE OLD STYLE ANTENNA ROUTERS AWAY. NO COMPARISSON. SETUP IS A BREEZE.

Gives me 7 ping and fast speeds compared to 5Ghz wifi. It does slow down other devices connected wirelessly to this node, hence the 4 stars.

The behavior you're describing, where devices connected wirelessly to the same eero unit experience slower speeds when another device is using the wired Ethernet connection, can occur due to bandwidth allocation and how the eero manages traffic across its connections.Here's what's likely happening and some strategies to optimize your network performance: 1. When you're using the Ethernet port on an eero node for a hardwired connection, that device is drawing bandwidth through the same unit that's also serving wireless devices. If your PC is consuming significant bandwidth (gaming, large downloads, streaming, or file transfers), this can impact the available bandwidth for wireless devices connected to that same node, especially if they're on the same frequency band. 2. Through the eero app, you can monitor which devices are connected to each node and view bandwidth usage patterns. While eero doesn't offer manual QoS (Quality of Service) controls, the system does include intelligent traffic management that prioritizes different types of traffic automatically. 3. If you consistently have multiple high-bandwidth devices in the same area—both wired and wireless—adding another eero unit to that zone can help distribute the load more effectively across your mesh network. Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to add a node to cover a space in my house, and I didn't need blazing fast speed, just coverage for smart devices. Because Eero devices all work with each other, I was able to spend more money on the important parts of the house and then buy this one-off mesh node to cover one side of the house. It's still a lot faster than what I had (Google Wifi) and has excellent coverage, just not quite as fast as the other 6 Pro nodes I bought, which is fine for the price and exactly what I wanted. Coverage still seems close to as good as the 6 Pro nodes.

I have two of these in my apartment and the seamlessness is so nice. I can walk into my different rooms and they’ll switch between the two based on whichever one I’m closer too. I even bought two for my girlfriend to use at her house
