Here’s how to get your eero network online: 1. Download the eero app for iOS or Android on a phone or tablet with an internet connection. 2. Create an eero account or log in with your existing Amazon account information. 3. Unplug your old modem and router from power. 4. Connect your eero router to your modem using the included Ethernet cable. 5. Plug your eero router into an available power outlet, then reconnect your modem to power. If your modem is built into your current router, then you’ll connect the eero router to one of the Ethernet ports on your existing router. 6. Continue following the prompts in the app to set up your network. If you need any assistance during the setup process, please reach out directly to eero customer support at (877) 659-2347. It's replacing my 6 year old Apple Time Capsule and it's...not quite as good. The app is helpful. However, if you have a lot of "smart" devices that use the 2.4GHZ spectrum, this router isn't very reliable. I have smart switches and pet cams that work one day and not the next. Was never an issue until I got this.

It was too late to return it but I am looking to see if we can use in somewhere else in the home.

We pay for 25 down from Xfinity, and when I do a speed test with this it goes up to 30 sometimes. But I’ve had to exchange it twice, the first one refused to update and was stuck offline, the 2nd one at least 3 times a day now shuts itself off.
