Used to get Ethernet port and increase WiFi
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a pack of three pros already at my house that is about 5000 square-foot. I have spread them out and my signal is great with my one gig Internet package. I bought this additional one so that I could place it directly in my office and hook my voice over IP phone directly into it because my phone needed to have a direct connection to a ethernet port and by plugging this in I accomplish that. It also strengthen my signal directly in my office.

Wireless monster
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router gives me my full speeds wirelessly on my iPad, iPhone, pc, switch and both my TVs and is hard line into my ps5. You only get one Ethernet connection so keep that in mind but the wifi is consistent and fast and has great range! And I can manage and or observe the other devices usages via the app! Set up was kinda buggy but it worked eventually

Eero — Good Enough
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We needed a small router for an ADU we just moved into and this seemed to do the trick. The setup — so easy — is by far its best quality. The reason I give it 4 stars is because it seems to crash every now and then (has not happened for awhile), but its a tad frustrating to have to unplug it and wait for a reset every time it happens.

Extends Our Marina WiFi
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After purchasing an eero system for our home we purchased this single unit for our houseboat. We have a 46' houseboat and our WiFi coverage was terrible with the gateway unit supplied by our internet provider. We use the eero as our router. It has not only given us excellent coverage throughout the boat but also 150' to the end of our dock! We're very satisfied.

Helpful addition to our single Eero
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works perfectly, easy set-up, added this new Eero to a more distant room with devices that had older wifi hardware that often struggled to get good wireless connection with the single Eero 6 Pro we have. New Eero gets good wireless connection to backwards compatible Pro and, we connect devices in the room now wired and wireless without any problems so far. Really helped our PS4 performance alot!

Requires a subscription
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No issue so far. But more advanced management functions require a subscription. In that sense, I'd recommend Ubiquiti's UniFi series more.

Great bargain! Better then Eero Pro 5!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phenomenal. Basically, this thing outperforms the Eero Pro Wifi 5 version, which is amazing given this is the normal variant of the Wifi 6 Eero. This thing tops out around 550mb/sec, where the Eero Pro 6 gets you about 725mb/sec. So it's plenty fast for just about everyone. Not a single glitch, issue, or complaint. May not be the absolute fastest out there, but it's rock solid reliable.

Does Not Work Well With Blink Sync Module 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Two different Best Buy associate approached me to purchase this item while I was browsing. One associate couldn’t fully explain to me what this was or how it worked, but the other associate promised me this is what he had at home & there would be no issues. I took this home. The set up was easy, but it took my Blink module offline, which took all my outdoor cameras offline as well. I made multiple calls to Eero, spent hours on the phone troubleshooting, have multiple email threads, and had to request to speak with a supervisor. The issue wasn’t resolved, so I attempted to return to the store. The store manager in Greensboro told me that he wouldn’t accept the return because it is outside of the 14 days, and even though I hold a Best Buy credit card, I’m not a plus member and I would have to be for him to accept the return. I will not return to the Greensboro store to purchase a product that I am recommended by their associates due to poor customer service and lack of accountability. Three different Eero associates including the supervisor told me that the issue was Blink, but as soon as I reconnect my Spectrum router, my Blink module is online with no issues.

Posted .Hi Janelle. Thank you for providing feedback about your experience with the eero 6 router. I know hoe frustrating it is when a new device doesn't perform as expected. eero uses a single SSID that combines the 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz bands. The Blink sync module and other devices that only operate on the 2.4 GHz band may need an extra step to get them up and running. You can use the eero app to temporarily hide the 5 GHz band while you get your 2.4 GHz devices connected. Open the eero app and tap “Settings” at the bottom of the home screen. Tap “troubleshooting” towards the bottom of the settings screen. Tap ”My device won’t connect.” Tap “Temporarily pause 5 GHz. This will pause the 5 GHz band for 15 minutes while you get your 2.4 GHz devices setup. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, please reach out directly to eero customer support at (877) 659-2347. Again, thank you for the feedback and have a great day!
