Recommended to family and friends and none have yelled at me yet (phew). Annual Secure subscription is a drag, but it's not super painful for how seamless the system is. If the price is higher I'd have a different opinion. Like everything else wired backhaul is better if you can manage it.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was initially told by your staff that it could work as a WiFi receiver and booster with just one unit, such that my Router/Modem could be in one room, it could be in another, and via ethernet from the Eero, I could add connectivity to a wired smart TV; however, I only learned afterwards on my own that it required a 2nd Eero to remain plugged into my Modem/Router in order to send signal to the one in the other room. I returned it and instead found a WiFi signal booster that could also provide connection via ethernet to my wired smart TV. Price-wise, that made much more sense than picking up a 2-pack of Eeros (which also more-so came in at least 3-packs. I don't have a house that big). Sidenote: There was no indication clearly on the box that Eero was owned by Amazon, which I don't want them reading my data.

Posted .Hi AriF. Thank you for providing feedback regarding your experience with the eero 6 router. I'm sorry to hear that the recommendation did not meet your expectations. In order to hard wire devices in multiple rooms, you'd need two eeros. I would recommend the eero 6+ 2-pack system since both eeros in the package will have two gigabit Ethernet ports for incoming and outgoing connections. I hope this information helps. Installed effortlessly by the Geek Squad as part of our TotalTech membership. Upload and download speeds are off the chart now and number of devices supported is beyond our needs.

The router was very easy to install and it effectively covers a space approximating 1100 square feet. I've yet to implement any of the added security features, but I plan to do so. Very satisfied with the product because it almost seamlessly integrates with my apple and other devices.
