Posted .Hi KevinG. Thank you for providing feedback about your experience with the eero 6 router. Since eero is designed to replace your existing router, it has to be hardwired to your modem. If you need more coverage in another area of your home, you can purchase an additional eero to create a wireless mesh network. If you need assistance figuring out which system will be best for your home, call eero customer service at 877-659-2347. They are available Monday–Sunday 6:00 am – 8:00 pm PT. Great as an add on to an existing eero environment

Once you add other units it’s where it really shines. Just wish it had one more Ethernet port. I’m a fan of wired backhaul and spending more money on a switch could be avoided with an extra port

It was easy to setup and manage via smartphone. Downside, is the range isn't that great. In order to cover an entire household, you will need multiple devices. Overall, I do recommend this device for those who aren't too tech savy.

Talked to Best Buy salesman, told him what we had been using, asked his advice based on our needs. Good recommendation, we took his advice. Very pleased with this product! Would recommend to others.
