TP-Link just works and the software is light years better.

If you're having issues after a software update, try power cycling your gateway eero by unplugging the power cable from the back of your eero, waiting 30 seconds, and then plugging them back in. If that doesn't resolve the issue, call eero customer service at (877)659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

It's replacing my 6 year old Apple Time Capsule and it's...not quite as good. The app is helpful. However, if you have a lot of "smart" devices that use the 2.4GHZ spectrum, this router isn't very reliable. I have smart switches and pet cams that work one day and not the next. Was never an issue until I got this.

We pay for 25 down from Xfinity, and when I do a speed test with this it goes up to 30 sometimes. But I’ve had to exchange it twice, the first one refused to update and was stuck offline, the 2nd one at least 3 times a day now shuts itself off.
