Posted .Hi Nothappy. I’m sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting some of your devices connected to the eero 6 router. Devices that only operate on the 2.4 GHz band may need an extra step to get them up and running. You can use the eero app to temporarily hide the 5 GHz band while you get your 2.4 GHz devices connected. Open the eero app and tap “Settings” at the bottom of the home screen. Tap “troubleshooting” towards the bottom of the settings screen. Tap ”My device won’t connect.” Tap “Temporarily pause 5 GHz. This will pause the 5 GHz band for 15 minutes while you get your 2.4 GHz devices setup. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, please reach out directly to eero customer support at (877) 659-2347. eero is defective!!! Customer Service is Horrible!

We had issues from day one. We initially had our main cable wire go out from a storm. Xfinity came and fixed it and we still had issues and it was recommended that we get a new modem and router. We went to Best Buy and bought a dual eero pack and Netgear modem. Went home and did not get the speed as expected. Long story short and 4 visits from Xfinity and $100.00 in service fees, we were told it was the eero's. I went and purchased this additional one to "strengthen" the signal upstairs and still with 1GB service from Xfinity, we are only receiving 200 mbs for download and 18 for upload. After 4 hours, we still have yet to be reimbursed.

Not enough feature worth the extra price

But when you need that extra security features it comes with a big price which you can find in other competitors free of charge. One time cost would even had been fine but a subscription is pricey

Spotty and unreliable router

Router was placed in cool/dark area, so heat exposure is not the issue. Contacted internet service provider as well, and they found no service interruptions on their end.

Posted .Hello Victoria. I am sorry to hear about the issues you’ve been having with the eero 6 router. Sometimes power cycling your eero can resolve connectivity issues. You can do this by unplugging and replugging it. Once you’ve plugged it back into power, wait for your eero to boot back up. This should take about 2 minutes. If the WiFi cuts out after the eero restart, notate the time of the outage and reach out to eero customer support for further troubleshooting steps. They can be reached at (877) 659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

Doesn't work with Spectrum

At first, it was cool, set up wasn't too bad. But the reason for the rating is because the app says the wifi can handle 4k streaming and facetime at the same time. That's CAP don't let it fool you. I was gaming online at 1080p and while my girlfriend was on FaceTime with her mom, my game would lag to a point of being unplayable. I never had this issue until I installed the router. Once I went back to the router I used prior, I never had any issues. So to recap, don't get this router if you are in Carrollton, TX and use spectrum as your internet provider.

I wish I would have just gotten a router. It would have been better.

Worthless Product

Thus, I cannot get set-up instructions and cannot get the system to work properly. Why can't they put instructions in the box. Thus product is worthless.

You can either log in using your Amazon Account information, or you can make an eero account. You will need to enter your phone number and email address. By default, we’ll send a verification code to your phone number. Enter this code on the verification screen of the app to create your account. Once logged in, the app will walk you through setup. This makes a seamless setup experience. If you are still having trouble creating an account or signing in, please reach out to eero customer support. Called Geek Squad and were absolutely no help. Called EERO support and still no success. Then call ISP, they were the most helpful but still could not connect. Product was returned.

Download the eero app for iOS or Andriod on a phone or tablet with an internet connection. 2. Create an eero account or log in with your existing Amazon account information. 3. Unplug your old modem and router from power. 4. Connect your eero router to your modem using the included Ethernet cable. 5. Plug your eero router into an available power outlet, then reconnect your modem to power. If your modem is built into your current router, then you’ll connect the eero router to one of the Ethernet ports on your existing router. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

Eero doesn't work with Ring doorbells.

There has been absolutely no improvement. From what I am reading online now, Ring products are really not compatible with eero. I know this is not Best Buy's fault but your sales staff should be aware of this problem. I would have been better off putting the cost of this extender towards different router or different camera doorbell.

Posted .Hello Dissatisfied. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been having trouble with the eero 6 router. If your signal is poor or very poor, this can be caused by the distance between the router and your Ring device, the layout of your home, or interference caused by other devices (TVs, games consoles, etc.) or materials in your home such as stucco, brick, metal, large mirrors or glass doors. A 2-pack eero system should solve your signal issue. This would allow you to place one next to your modem, and the other eero closer to your doorbell. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

But I don't need a booster, and it just slowed my whole network down having it connected.

Eero app states I’m receiving 900+ but WiFi is getting 22mbps and I’m in a small apartment. Also my son hardwired into the eero and getting only 101mbps and lower. Regular routers seem to be the way to go
