It talks to this one downstairs and extends my wifi coverage. Very easy and got a sale price too. I highly recommend this mesh system that works with loca provider Sonic. I will probably purchase the eero pro 6 so can stop renting from Sonic at $10 mo. With my reward points I can get a $30 discount cause the pro is quite steep at $229

Its easy to setup, you just need to download the app and follow the steps. If you can get the pro version get it( it has more range). I have this one connected via ethernet cable to a pro 6. Fyi this devices tend to get hot so have them where they can get good airflow, other than that really good router.

Added this to be hard-wired to my PC for gaming. No issues, it gets the job done. Also, quick and easy to set up.

When I moved to a smaller apartment and had to put the eero at one end it did not get Wi-Fi to the other end of the apartment.

Performance is good and setup was fairly simple. We are running about 15 to 20 devices here between phones, computers, streaming items and tablets and all seems stable. Two minor issues: 1) You must use an App to set up & manage them vs being able to connect via a website directly. 2) No QoS available - really only an issue if you have some traffic that should have priority, such as VOIP phones.

New eero 6 Dual Band Reciew

System is controlled by an app which shows all devices connected ands the speed they are operating at. Easy install had it up and running in no time. Most of the time was spent accessing the outlet and CAT 5 plug. I don’t think I will need an extender but might get 1 to boost coverage in the garage for faster updates to the car.

When you're using the Ethernet port on an eero node for a hardwired connection, that device is drawing bandwidth through the same unit that's also serving wireless devices. If your PC is consuming significant bandwidth (gaming, large downloads, streaming, or file transfers), this can impact the available bandwidth for wireless devices connected to that same node, especially if they're on the same frequency band. 2. Through the eero app, you can monitor which devices are connected to each node and view bandwidth usage patterns. While eero doesn't offer manual QoS (Quality of Service) controls, the system does include intelligent traffic management that prioritizes different types of traffic automatically. 3. Was easy to set up, and did add coverage.

If you’ve got another router or a modem/router combo device double NATed to your eeros, this could be the cause of poor connectivity and performance. To get the most out of your eero WiFi system, we recommend having your eero WiFi system replace your current router and having your gateway eero plugged directly into your modem. If you have a modem/router combo device, you can try putting it in bridge mode, which disables the wireless function on that device. If you have another router connected between your modem and gateway eero, you can try disconnecting the router in between and connecting your gateway eero directly to the modem. If these steps do not help, or if you need additional assistance with these steps, call eero customer service at 877-659-2347. They are available Monday–Sunday 6:00 am – 8:00 pm PT. Finally Don't Drop Internet Service

We struggled to maintain service on our phones and staying connected to the wifi network before purchasing these jewels. Now we can walk around outside the house and still get service! We dont drop calls or have any changes in the speed of the internet! I was skeptical because we had tried expensive extenders and nothing worked, but these are very reliable and haven't let us down yet!
