Solved my range problem

Another must was having it work out on the screen porch. My house is modest in square feet but covering three floors and a porch was challenging. Only small problem was my phone’s software wasn’t recent enough for the app so my son-in-law had to put it on his phone. Product was expensive too.

Every now and then someone has trouble connecting but it could also be their device. the router we had before had constant issue. this has been a great and necessary upgrade.

The surface under the pods tend to get hot so purchased wire cooling racks to place pods on. Also, purchased a 6 feet USB cable so that could put one of the pod in preferred location.

Posted .Hi BrookeC. Thank you for your feedback on the eero 6 system. The eero 6 system supports ISP speeds up to 500 Mbps. If your ISP speeds are above 500 Mbps, I would suggest looking into one of the other eero systems. We have other systems that support ISP speeds ranging from 1 Gbps to 9.4 Gbps. Im very happy with this purchase!

The app is really good. And the control to individually turn off devices is good as well. Kids don’t do as they are told you can turn off the internet. Not home you can turn off the internet. You can create a guest account to allow access and when not in use you can turn off. Good deal.

Decided to replace my older router with the eero 6 dual band mesh. A few problems setting the system up as I am not a tech wiz but worked that out and the system is up and running great. I am very pleased as I have great coverage in the house with no dead spots .

Returned it back and bought Orbi tri band and I’m loving it. I know this is a dual band mesh system from eero but if you have multiple devices to be connected and an area of more than 1600sqft, I would recommend going with tri band for its great signal strength and speeds.
