The app guided tool omitted a step of reconfiguring my existing router to pass through signals. That was done by geeksquad when I gave up and asked for help. Without their help I could get one node set up bu tthe second couldn't find the first even from across a small room much less from upstairs. Got it done only with GS help.

I had the netgear nighthaw X10 which was great while you were living room but completely dropped in the bedroom. These eeros were able to give me a solid signal back to the bedroom and there wasn't that much lost doing a speed test. Went from around 20 mbps to close to 300 mbps going through 3 thicker concrete walls.

No issues with streaming, PS5, and laptops running at the same time. Cost is on the fair end compared to other products. Note that a subscription is required if you want advanced features such as parental controls.

Written directions were very minimal, could have been much better. The units work much better than the older one it replaced. I get much better coverage throughout the house now… even out in the garage. Thumbs up for it.

Strategically placing your eeros is the single most important step you can take to ensure your system provides fast, reliable WiFi to every room in your home. Here are some tips to follow: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. Previous router was dropping speeds and not allowing consistent online gaming, but as soon as I replaced it with this mesh set up, I have had zero issues. Nice to be able to hardwire devices via the ethernet port in multiple rooms too :)

It's simple to install and provides excellent coverage (2600 sq. ft. house). There are also extenders that can be added to your system for larger installations.
