I dont have cable, so I stream everything. I live in an area where my cell phone does not work without a wifi connection. When my Netgear Nighthawk was acting up I went to Best Buy to find an alternative. This one was recommended as you can position the pods in different parts of the house to help with coverage. The first one is up in my closet. (For some reason when my house was built they put the command center for the landlines, cable and wifi in the master closet) the other I went to the Family room, where the TV is. It would not connect. It was "too far" from the other. So I went to the Kitchen next to the Family room. Too far again. So I moved to the Dining area near the stairs. Finally it connected. For reference my house is 1000 sq feet and this system is meant to cover a larger area than that. Not sure why it wouldnt connect where I needed it most. Only time will tell if this was a massive waste of money.

Posted .Hi KelEsq. Thank you for reaching out. I am sorry to hear about the range concerns that you have with the eero 6+ system. Here are some tips that may remedy your range issue: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877)659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. Extend your current WIFI covearge

If you are replacing an existing WIFI router, make sure to use the same name and password as your existing WIFI, and you won't have to reprogram anything you are using on your existing WIFI. Bought these because the old WIFI didn't have enough coverage for my new Ring cameras. Now, everything works fine.

After spending about 8 hours with Google "product support" trying to fix, I gave up and bought this eero mesh system. Immediately, everything started working just fine with even better coverage! Set up was fast and easy.

It did take hours for the updates before they were useful, so I would recommend setting them up and then planning on doing something without internet for a few hours.
