Wi-Fi Solution

Im thinking about getting more to boost the wifi in the house even more. Not to hard to setup the only thing that was a little confusing is while setting it up you cannot name the devices as the same name as your home wifi network. When you do this devices that connect via wifi like printers will get confused and not be able to connect because there is two wifi options with the same name.

Although, we had to reconnect 25 devices with the new the new network. Also, eventually the mesh network will pay for itself since we were able to stop leasing three plooms...so far so good.

Posted .Hi Burner. Thank you for reaching out about your experience with the eero 6+ system. Each eero 6+ router provides coverage up to 1,500 sq. ft. Depending on the layout of your home and the materials used in its construction, more eeros could be needed. If you'd like to add additional Ethernet ports, you will need an Ethernet switch. Most unmanaged Ethernet switches work with eero, so feel free to use any to your liking. With that said, ensure you select a switch that fits the requirements of your internet service speeds. The Best Buy tech recommended Eero. I installed one on my main floor and one on my second floor. My son is a gamer and uses the Wi-Fi. Before I installed Eero I always heard yelling of “I am lagging”. Since installing them I haven’t heard a thing. It was a win win for both myself and my son. We have a gaming pc, PlayStation, 2 laptops and 3 smart tvs

I purchased a separate modem that worked with my cable company and added the Eero 6+ 3 pack system. The Eero was easy to set up and provides full coverage with no dead zones across 3200 sq ft area. Speeds up to 1 Gb. I like the ability to see the upload and download activity from every device to manage data usage.

So glad a salesman offered us advice, as we almost bought the wrong system. That’s why we shop in person at our local Best Buy. Tech support from each department to the checkout counter!!!

Good coverage, enables me to use my Ring Doorbell on my gate, 80' from the house. I now have 11 ring cameras in total working well, couldn't do that without the eero.

Written directions were very minimal, could have been much better. The units work much better than the older one it replaced. I get much better coverage throughout the house now… even out in the garage. Thumbs up for it.
