Since I work from home I couldn't deal with the outages anymore. This eero mesh system is great but not perfect. I require the base router in my basement which then causes the 2 other satellites throughout the house to lose some download/upload speed unfortunately. My Orbi never had this issue, but I will take uninterrupted connections and a great connection app with outstanding features any day over the previous system issues I had. And I can increase my internet speed in the future if needed to help offset the lower speed connections of my satellites which actually isn't much and not an issue with what we connect with wirelessly.

Four stars instead of five, because in my 3-story house, even with the extenders I still have some areas where the signal is weak.

Strategically placing your eeros is the single most important step you can take to ensure your system provides fast, reliable WiFi to every room in your home. Here are some tips to follow: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. Depending on the layout of your home and the materials used in its construction, more eeros could be needed. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877)659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

I bought this to work with Starlink but it wasn’t compatible for my set up but overall these work great for normal router set ups
