I wasn’t sure on the quality because I’ve tried several brands and they weren’t always that good. But this set up very easily and I know I have coverage in many areas of my home that I didn’t before. Highly recommend it.

We placed the main hub in the middle with the other two nodes on either end of the house and connected them with a 1gb backbone. But our experience has found it to not be a very seamless mesh - not near as robust as the Orbi system we replaced. (The Orbi is not as “hands free” maintenance as we require. We simply cannot connect to the console as often as required.) At any rate, we are continually having to turn wireless off/on on our various devices to provide a serious - and stable - connection. Secondly, there is no way to assign a device to a particular node and Amazon has denied the need for over 4 years. But with the advent of outdoor cameras and most recently Smart outdoor Christmas lights, assigning those devices to a particular node would be most useful - and necessary. If it becomes necessary to unplug a node for any reason, all devices search for another connection, overloading the “new” node’s 2.4 channel. At any rate, we will be returning this system as soon as I have a replacement.

The system also is not allowing a VPN connection to work in spite of tech support attempting to correct this. A little disappointing.

Strategically placing your eeros is the single most important step you can take to ensure your system provides fast, reliable WiFi to every room in your home. Here are some tips to follow: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. Previously when I just had one router, and no mesh network I had blind spots all over my house, and most places in the house where I had reception the speed was extremely slow. This made all the difference. I use it with my Verizon 5G Internet.
