I would give this a 4 or 5 star rating if you could control which node a device connects to. Right now most of my devices are connecting to the main node with only a couple connecting to the other nodes. For better throughput would prefer to balance the devices connecting to each node.

Great for wi-fi dead spots, but wi-fi calling fail

Wi-fi dead spots solved after our dismal experience with Verizon; however a new problem emerged, wi-fi calling feature is now a complete failure with this product. Want to love this for solving our wi-fi across our home (3k sq ft), but cant rate higher until this is resolved.

I bought this and have Total Tech it quit after about a month called Best Buy had to wait a week for Tech to come to house to put a new power supply cable on it now after 6 months waiting for erro to call back spent 4 hours troubleshooting with erro tech with problem not resolved. This is a day later still no resolution cant believe the poor service. When you call Tech Support from eero you get heavily accented person hard to hear and understand from all the background noise. VERY POOR SERVICE

This mesh router doesn’t distinguish between 5mhz and 2.4 mhz. Many 2,4 devices can’t sync. Very frustrating.

Hi RandallW. Thank you for providing feedback regarding your experience with the eero 6+ system. eero uses a single SSID that allows devices to live on the 2.4GHz and 5 GHz radio frequencies. Devices that only work on the 2.4 GHz frequency are still usable with eero. To get these devices set up, you’ll need to temporarily disable the 5GHz bands. Do this in the eero app by tapping on Settings > Troubleshooting > 'My device won't connect', then tapping on the "Temporarily pause 5GHz" button. This will disable 5GHz for 10 minutes, which can help with setting up some 2.4GHz only devices. If you still can’t get your devices connected, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347 so they can troubleshoot further. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day! AmazonDevices

My biggest issue with this router and it's a feature I'm stumped about is the lack of letting the user control the individual bands. For example, my PS5nuses 5Ghz wifi which is much faster than traditional 2.4Ghz. but this router chooses to send the slower signal to the newer and more modern capable device. This means less wifi speed and just a bad experience. For this reason. I'm returning. Switching back to my TP link router.

Hi Vic87. Thank you for providing feedback about your experience with the eero 6+ router. I’m sorry to hear about your connection issues. Devices generally choose which Wi-Fi band to connect to automatically, based on factors like signal strength, compatibility, and interference. Turning on Client Steering may help your device choose the 5GHz band. To turn on Client Steering, open the eero app, go to the Settings tab, select Network settings, select Client Steering, toggle the Client steering option on. If this doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day! AmazonDevices

Not as good as I hoped. I often have to re-start the system because the direct wired tv's will not get a signal?? The second transmitter is also hard wired and only shows that it is on wifi??

Well it is good...let's just say from 1 to 5, 5 being great and 1 being a door stopper, I would rate it at 3.5. I dont live in a house made of concrete, and yet my basement gets weak wifi. Heck....when I seat beside the wifi, it only 3 bars! Go figure!
