The eero 6+ is my first mesh wifi router. In the matter of minutes I went from one access point to three with full coverage within my home. Setup is truly breeze and because I am used to navigating my own modem and wifi at home I had no trouble at home. I currently have full gigabyte service at my home. I have a modem/wifi router from my service provider so I logged into my router and deactivated the wifi portion of the router prior to connecting my eero to the modem via a ethernet cable (included). Next download the eero app and it will take you from there and have everything up and running in the matter of minutes. This is a wifi 6 device! I positioned my three devices in a straight line through my 1 story home. This provides complete wifi coverage within my home that I did not have prior to having the eero system. Prior my old wifi router was in the rear of my home so the farther towards the front of the house the weaker the connection. Since my living is the farthest from the router I had the worse connection there. This is no longer the case with the mesh system. Internet speed tests reflect a strong connection throughout my home. What’s new! The new 5th Gen Amazon echo dot will have eero built in. Yes, you read that right! So that means if you love having echo throughout your home you can upgrade to the 5th Gen which will provide a continuation of your mesh system. You can add as many eeros to your existing setup! That could be a lot of wifi power if you need it!

The eero 6+ AX3000 dual-band mesh wi-fi 6 system greatly improved our wi-fi system in our two-family home. Directions are clear and set up is very easy out of the box. Our router is located in the living room on the first floor and we intended to use the eero in our office and master bedroom which are both on the second floor where the wi-fi signal seems slower and fluctuating. After setting up the system, we had to reconnect all our devices to the new wi-fi profile created. When prior to using this system, our laptops only register 2-3 bars signal, after installing this system they now register full bars! We have been using this system for about a week and have not experienced any disconnections or significant signal fluctuations. I did not notice a significant speed improvement in my computer as obviously speeds can be affected by several factors including the machine itself. However, with the use of the eero wi-fi system, keeping the laptop connected to the network at all times and accessing the internet without waiting long for the pages to load are no longer an issue. I highly recommend this product for offering a much needed wi-fi boost in your home network.

Did not realize wi-fi systems like these get outdated so quick. Apparently my connectivity issues and buffering, lag had to do with out dated technology. Enter the new new wi-fi 6 system. I have used other systems, but I have always had great experiences with Eero. The mesh software works well and does a great job of spreading and extending my signal throughout the home. Out of the box this thing is super easy to set up. It requires no knowledge or tools. Basically plug and log in. I like the intuitive app set up help to show where the best spots for each beacon provides the best signal spacing. The app is easy to use and features analytics, speed checks and summary of what devices are connected. I don't know how long the technology lasts in these devices before they need to be replaced or upgraded, but I can say that this system is worth the price, given the frustrations we were dealing with in using the outdated tech system we replaced with this system. As a very active household on line from Work from home activities to running a connected house and all things streaming, I am happy I am running on the most up to date system now.

I had a Linksys 3 mode system then a Linksys standalone before these...I have to say. I don't think I'll go back unless something drastically changes. With my old node system, I would constantly have to reset or reconnect. I haven't had to do that a single time even after losing power. The set up was easy. All I had to do was follow the instructions. I installed the app first, then powered up the router. The app walked me through every step of the way. It's an easy app to use. The menus and navigations are easy to follow and to understand. One the first node is set up, the others fall right in line with no issues. I do recall that was an issue with my old node set. Two of the three would connect with no issues but one of them would either error out or would only connect to then lose signal again a few minutes later. I haven't had that problem. I don't notice an increase in speed, but what I do notice and all that matters to me is the stability of the system. I do not have drops while playing COD and my signal stretches through most of my 2 acres yard.

These new Eero 6+ units are great. Took a weak connection in a remote part of the house and turned it into a very strong signal. My second eero system. Simple to set up and good value for the increased speed.

The eero 6+ is a great Wi-Fi device to use in large homes it supports multiple devices at fast speeds with all the Wi-Fi. 6. Connectivity supports the latest 1 GB internet connections and if you place the extenders a little bit further away from the router then use your. It can still perform better than other mesh Wi-Fi. 6. Routers easy app to set up comes with malware, ad blocking and content filtering that require a $30 subscription or you can get a password manager, VPN and Malwarebytes plus all of the features in the $30 plan for $99 a year called eero secure or eero secure Plus highly recommend this device for anyone who needs a Wi-Fi upgrade much better than Wi-Fi. 5.

In the past, i have used Wifi Extenders with some success, but none with regular success. I decided to try the Eero system, and i have never been more pleased! It totally shut down any dead spots in the house, and i get great signal now in the garage. I actually get extremely nearly or sometimes even over the speed from my internet provider on every eero. I have a centurylink modem, and it was very easy to setup, just plug in and follow the directions of the app. VERY pleased with this system and will recommend this anyone!

When I stopped renting my modem/Wi-Fi router from the cable company I chose a stand-alone modem and Wi-Fi router. I started with a single original eero unit and it had better coverage of my home than the cable company combo unit as the salesman had promised. I had powerline units to repeaters all over the house with the cable company unit and when I had the single eero unit. One at a time I added additional eero units until I had 5 to cover most of my 5000 square foot H shaped home. I was finally rid of the troublesome wireline units with repeaters. My home is difficult for radio signals because of its shape, a number of interior brick walls, metal cabinets with metal backsplashes in three rooms... I just replaced the 5 original eero units with a 3 pack of eero 6+ units. Throughout the the parts of the house we spend the most time in we get the same fast (250-300 MBps) that we get in our den a few feet from the modem and base eero unit. The 2 satellite eero units are in place mostly because our TIVO-Mini units don't work well with Wi-Fi. The rooms with the satellite eero units get an adequate Wi-Fi signal for most of our needs without the satellites but being able to use a network cable to the Tivo-Minis allows us to flawlessly stream HD and 4K television. The setup was quick and easy. I already had the app on my phone. I deleted the old network from the app and unplugged the old units. The app gives clear instructions that were simple to follow. The new network was up and running in no time. The one thing I would do differently is keep the name and password of the old network. I didn't really consider that by giving the new network a different name that I would have to individually log each Wi-Fi using device into the new network. I couldn't be happier with my new 6+ version of the eero. I have 3 units providing better coverage than my 5 original units were. Simple setup. I've never had a single issue with eero equipment in the past. Problem free technology, what else could one wish for!

Pros - Easy to setup and connect these to an existing network/modem. Follow the steps and you will be up and running in minutes without fail. App walks you through step by step. I opened the box, pulled out all 3 eeros. I then proceeded to plug in the first one and allowed it to connect. Once it connected, I switched my lighting hub to use this device which took about 2 minutes to be added. I then proceeded to adding the next one and set it up. Then I proceeded to do the next one and got it up and running. I did have to connect existing devices to the new "network" SSID since it didn't transition the password from the old one with the same name. No issue doing this process, just connect devices to the new network, even if using the same name (iphones, ipads, tvs, streaming devices) and type the password. Devices are very quick to connect to the new network in about half the time it took with the older devices. Build quality and size of these devices make them ideal for placing around the house. We have about 2000 sq ft house upstairs plus a basement. I placed one next to the modem, another one at the opposite end of the house and another in the front part of the house. I am able to connect devices outside on the pool deck without fail. Speeds for all devices is very fast. I noticed that the streaming devices aren't buffering like they were on the older network "extenders". These can also use the new Echo devices which have eero built in to extend your wifi to various areas of a large house. Very clean and small devices are very easy to hide behind objects on a shelf or in a room without anyone knowing they exist.

Wasn't really sure what to think at first. I opened the box and their were three identical units, three power cords and one network cable. There was a small piece of literature that was too small to read and more legal info, not directions. I downloaded the app by searching on eero. The app walked you through set up. It was surprisingly easy. the most difficult part was getting under the bookcase to plug in the first unit! I did search a bit on line as I didn't know if it should plug into my existing modem or router. It did say to plug into the modem. Mine (provided by the cable company) doesn't have any additional ports so I plugged it into the router. It works! I set the second one up in the far backroom and the third one in a separate hobby shed outside the house. All three connected easily. The app walks you through what to do, including creating the network name and login. Then I did a bit of testing to see if this network is faster. And yes, it is somewhat faster than the connection with the equipment from the cable company. Webpages download a bit faster and multiple devices attached don't seem to slow it down. One thing I really like is the ability to connect via a cable devices to the units. My wifi printer never seems to be online. Now I can just attach it to this little eero. I think I'll dig up that Alexa device and connect it too. The app makes it easy to monitor the network and even turn off for periods of time, like while your sleeping.

It might be silly but first impressions are important and the packaging for these was very robust with tight tolerances. Just what I would expect from something in this price range. My coverage area is quite large and extends to a detached barn where my wood working studio is located. Even with very high powered single unit devices I have trouble with coverage. Not with this system I have them spaced across my property such that I get great coverage everywhere that I need. It is sort of like cell phone towers where as you move around the system calculates which node will give you the best reception and will switch you seamlessly if you move or in the unlikely even that one drops offline. This is fast too giving gigabit speeds. This is done by communication between the units on another radio frequency as not to take up network resources. My internet is not that fast but I do a lot of internal file sharing and moving and really appreciate the speed this gives my local network. I checked with customer support and they said up to 3 more units can be added to the system presumably doubling the coverage area. eero 6+ works as a smart home hub so you can control supported Thread and Zigbee devices with Alexa. Use your eero 6+ with Alexa to control lights, locks, plugs, and more. I chatted into best buy and they said this is also compatible with google home. All in all this is one of the few products I would give an extra star to if I could. Installation was easy too.

Easy peezy to install. Better coverage for sure in the house. We are still using our old eero system with a switch box to have an additional network throughout the house. We bought Eero back during Covid for more bandwidth. We like it a lot.
