The router is an the very end of the house and it reaches up to the second floor end of the house without any problems. My son and I game on opposite ends of the house and it works flawlessly.

Connecting Amazon Echo devices to eero mesh networks can occasionally require specific setup steps due to how Echo devices handle network authentication and band steering. Here's comprehensive guidance to help you and others who may experience similar issues: 1. During initial Echo setup, temporarily disable the 5 GHz band in your eero app settings, leaving only 2.4 GHz active. Many Echo devices prefer connecting to 2.4 GHz during initial setup. Do this in the eero app by tapping on Settings > Troubleshooting > 'My device won't connect', then tapping on the "Temporarily pause 5GHz" button. This will disable 5GHz for 10 minutes, which can help with setting up some 2.4GHz only devices. 2. Avoid special characters, spaces at the beginning or end, or very long network names, as these can sometimes cause issues with Echo device connectivity. 3. When adding Echo devices, ensure you're physically close to an eero unit during setup. Worth the investment.

NOT FOR SONOS

DON'T BUT THIS IF YOU HAVE SONOS! EERO uses a combined 5ghz with 2.4ghz wifi that Sonos doesn't work with. Had to return. But the speed is awesome.
