I decided to leave the carrier that I had because I wanted to ditch my modem. With both of the eero's there is no need for a modem. So I gave my modem to my brother in law so he didn't have to pay the outrages amount he was having to pay for rental of his. Getting back to the eero 6+ it works great I get excellent coverage throughout my house. There customer service is the best. I would recomend this to anyone. I did have trouble setting up the router but with there customer service it took no time at all.

Strategically placing your eeros is the single most important step you can take to ensure your system provides fast, reliable WiFi to every room in your home. Here are some tips to follow: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. Internet Router at its best

I needed this eero extender router and when I say I have internet all over the house I mean every word of it. Full service bars in garage, patio, backyard and lawn. No matter the number of devices connected, a speed test always passes.

Though I might be out of a job if we did. So far it has been the easiest of set ups with the app, and has performed above all my expectations. Highly advise this device for anyone want a good blanket coverage of wifi and blazing fast response times. Though I think my favorite little feature was the easy pause of the 5 ghz band so I could add all my smart bulbs and cameras without having to reset all my wifi settings. This really helped as I have about 40 bulbs and cameras.
