EERO is $9-10 /month - not disclosed on box.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The app did not work well on my Samsung phone, but it may be a phone issue. This was the only problem I encountered. Easiest installation of a wireless device in 20+ years of installs. Unhappy with prompt for a service fee. No mention of it on the box. If product stops working in 30 days my recommendation will change to a 1. It remains a 5 to date.

Best Router I’ve Owned To Date
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this router. So easy to setup, rename, pick a password, and update or change. Plus the price I got it at for $200 made it an outstanding value. Amazon/Eero have really made a fantastic mesh Wi-Fi router system. I bought the TP-Link Deco X60 system first, but then I bought this system at a better price and my tests showed that the eero system was more consistently faster. My one dislike is that you can’t turn off the LED status light. I put black tape over it for the unit I put in my bedroom to keep my room dark.

Very easy to install & use
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We needed to replace our old router unit as it was over 12 years old. We purchased the same model as it worked like a champ. Install was crazy easy & had it installed in under 20 minutes - and I am by no means a IT person! We have a 2 story home & the double unit works great for all our TVs & various wi fi products in the house without hesitation. Would definitely recommend this unit .

Simply excellent if you do not need 6Ghz band
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't rush through setup, take some time to allow room for updates and minor detours. Remember that older devices may not play well or take a bit more time to figure out. Most of the time the wifi password is the issue. Those cations said, this router (pair) is excellent after you get past setup. And setup really should be easy and quick if you have only a few devices that are less than 5 years old. The signal strength is better than I expected and on top of that the wifi signal is very stable. Stable enough to support 4-6 hours of Microsoft Teams video conference calls, all day email with large attachments and OneDrive syncing all day long for work... and that's at the same time as other people are watching streaming services all day long. My internet is only DSL 75Mbps DOWN and 25Mbps UP. These matrix router/wifi pair will not be your bottleneck. My Linksys Velop trio worked well for a few years then [performance declined over time. I've only had the Eeros for a short while but they already outperform the Velops at their peek and the Eeros handle a large number of devices, streams. Great performance and great capacity!

Work as advertised
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These things were easy to set up and work great! I was a little skeptical when they didn't have protruding antennas but the coverage is better than my old router with monster antennas. I even notice a big difference in the feed from some of my most distant outdoor cameras. The app is pretty good and does allow some more advanced features like port forwarding. I've yet to try out the ad blocker and parental controls but am excited to try them.

Best purchase ever!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After years of issues with traditional wi-fi routers, we decided to switch to this mesh system. I wish we had made the switch sooner. Every single issue we had previously disappeared...slow speeds, buffering while streaming, weak signals, etc. We typically have 2 streaming devices going simultaneously plus phones and have had zero issues since switching to this mesh system. Setup was fairly easy. The hardest part was figuring out the best placement for each router, but even that only added a couple of extra minutes to set up time.

Great mesh coverage
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Provides great coverage over the house. We needed multiple nodes to connect. Having Eero makes it easy to move from one spot to another without having to switch from extender to extender. Another great thing is that I can hide the cable modem in a cabinet and have only the Eero home base showing, so it allows that minimalist style. The only down side I have found is if you want to replace an Eero node its not easy to replace and join the new node.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these hoping they would be a better option for my home than the Google Nest Mesh System I was using. Let me say 1st, I love how user friendly the Google Nest is and how compatible it is with other devices in my home (same platform, etc.). I think that is what I miss the most. Eero does seem to work faster, but I think I need 4 pods in addition to the 3 that are included. With 2600 sq. ft., Google covered by home, but was not as fast. Eero is fast, but doesn't completely cover my home. Now I am forced to spend more money on another eero to gain coverage.

Posted .Hello ChristaH! Thank you for your feedback on the eero 6+ system. I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience comparing it to your previous Google Nest Mesh System. It's great to hear that you're experiencing faster speeds with the eero 6+ system. However, I understand your frustration with the coverage gaps in your 2,600 sq. ft. home and the additional investment required to achieve complete coverage. The eero 6+ system is designed to cover up to 4500 sq. ft. with a three-pack, though actual coverage varies based on home construction, wall materials, and layout. Homes with multiple floors, thick walls, or complex layouts may require additional units for complete coverage. Before purchasing additional units, here are several strategies to maximize coverage with your existing three-unit system: 1. Strategic Placement Optimization: Position your gateway eero centrally where your modem is located, then place the additional units in areas that create overlapping coverage zones. eeros work best when placed in open spaces, elevated positions (like on shelves), and away from thick walls, metal objects, large appliances, and electronics that can cause interference. 2. Update and Optimize: Verify your eero app is current and that your system has the latest firmware. Check your network topology in the app to ensure each eero is connecting optimally—sometimes repositioning units by just a few feet can dramatically improve coverage.
If after optimizing placement you still experience coverage gaps and decide an additional unit is necessary, a fourth eero 6+ would indeed provide the comprehensive coverage you need for your home size. If you have questions about optimal placement for your specific home layout or need assistance with network configuration, eero Support is available at (877) 659-2347 7 days a week 6:00 am – 8:00 pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

Mesh for Dummies
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of pre-store research and window shopping for a mesh wi-fi system. I wanted an easy user setup, the ability to connect via ethernet cord for some older devices, and a stable connection throughout my home, Eero has provided beautifully. It's perfectly designed for simple integration onto your current network. Being able to assign any hub as the gateway was a particularly brilliant move. And bonus! No big-brother-is-listening style speaker to deal with. I couldn't be happier.
