I had asked for months for my ISP for help extending my service with no reply. I started asking for advice from everyone I knew, and was recommended this device. It works wonderful. Now I’m looking to replace the gateway modem that the ISP supplies.

I dont have cable, so I stream everything. I live in an area where my cell phone does not work without a wifi connection. When my Netgear Nighthawk was acting up I went to Best Buy to find an alternative. This one was recommended as you can position the pods in different parts of the house to help with coverage. The first one is up in my closet. (For some reason when my house was built they put the command center for the landlines, cable and wifi in the master closet) the other I went to the Family room, where the TV is. It would not connect. It was "too far" from the other. So I went to the Kitchen next to the Family room. Too far again. So I moved to the Dining area near the stairs. Finally it connected. For reference my house is 1000 sq feet and this system is meant to cover a larger area than that. Not sure why it wouldnt connect where I needed it most. Only time will tell if this was a massive waste of money.

Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877)659-2347. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. Now i can work and watch tv at the same time without putting my work device on cellular so someone else can watch tv or use the internet.

I had the netgear nighthaw X10 which was great while you were living room but completely dropped in the bedroom. These eeros were able to give me a solid signal back to the bedroom and there wasn't that much lost doing a speed test. Went from around 20 mbps to close to 300 mbps going through 3 thicker concrete walls.
